I don't know why the first event won't be live streamed and I don't know why the second even will only be for paid members. I can only guess but before I get into that, I just want to first highlight the significance of Jin directly and personally requesting for a light hug event instead of just doing a live or a fan meet or opting to rest and spend time with his family. ARMY would have perfectly understood had he wanted to do all those things. Instead, he is going straight to ARMYs. Let us not loose focus on how reassuring this is. He is still here, with ARMY. I can't remember the last Kpop idol who went straight to spending time with their fans as soon as they get discharged. This is not a knock on those idols. They have absolutely no obligation to do that but this just highlights Jin's commitment to ARMY.

Now, why are they limiting the first and second event, my guess (I cannot emphasize enough that this is just my guess/speculation) is that they are trying to keep Jin safe from possible haters and people who may want to bring their political agenda into this event or people who may raise issues Jin has nothing to do with like corporate issues (you know what I am talking about).

Let us remember that this is not just an ARMY event, this is a global event that international media will be covering. There are way too many people using the name of ARMY to (1) push their political agenda or (2) rope in BTS in issues they have nothing to do with. The media will for sure pick up on those and make it appear as if that minority represents the stance of the entire fandom and then bounce it back to the artist, Jin. They will magnify a single mention of that corporate issue and make it appear as if it dominated conversations.

He is the first BTS member to finish his military service and this effectively and officially signals the beginning of BTS' return. Everyone is watching.

But my guess/speculation is that for Jin, he just wants to spend time with ARMYs in peace. Just like how you want to just sit down for coffee and some pastries with your friends you haven't seen in 2 years and just catch up, no drama. For him to even request for a "light hug event", a personal interaction, instead of just doing a WeVerse live, already says a lot of his commitment to ARMYs. I hope we can appreciate that and let him AND THE WORLD know that it is what's important and that's what we feel and we see.

I am sure that he approved all these. We know that they control everything in their career. If he doesn't agree with the reasons, he wouldn't have said yes. So, let's trust him. He left us a message every month to keep us company and his bandmates spent the last months pre-enlistment banking content to keep us company while they are away. I think we can wait a little longer for when he starts doing more things with less filters.

I know ARMY misses him but we can wait a little bit longer.
