What's up, Patrons!

Here is a new video with voiceover to guide you through a 25min session. I've added an intro to this video to highlight some of the exercises and positions you will find in the practice!

It will be a nice shift away from the Plank Pose work in the previous video... but still building on the foundational alignment from the Diamond Seat Shoulder Stretch... that is actually a key position in my yoga weight loss practice this year.

I hope you enjoy this session!

Here's a bit about what this class is about:

This beginner yoga video guides you through a sequence of yoga exercises to develop core strength and flexibility, and it is great yoga for weight loss too!

  • Each yoga exercise is practiced for a round of 5 or 10 breaths.
  • Each position is held for 5 or 10 breaths as well.

Connecting with sequential breaths is a wonderful indication that your mind-body yoga practice is developing. In other words, your awareness of breath happens when you are able to "think less" about the actions and challenges in each exercise or position. This means, more power is activated so your mind-body-BREATH is working together.

The "peak pose" in this session is Downward Dog. So, for everyone who finds Downward Dog to be a challenging position... this class will guide you through exercises that will help you not only enter Downward Dog, but sustain the position with the possibility of even connecting with your breath WHILE maintaining the pose!

Do you experience the mind-body-breath glory in downward dog?

I hope these yoga exercises help!
