Salutations!

I sit up with a gasp and stare blankly at a screen before me.

You have been reborn! You are welcome!

I am the Departed Immigration and Complementary Enlightenment System! But you can call me D.I.C.E.!

I look around a completely dark void of nothingness, the only thing I can see is this screen before me and a dark outline of what is supposedly my body.

Why 'Departed Immigration and Complementary Enlightenment', you might ask? Well, my creators really wanted to get an acronym that spelt Dice! Simple, right?

'But it doesn't spell Dice though... it spells DICES. As in an incorrect plural.'

There is a reason to this madness, however, this system allows you to become a d&d character! Incredible, right?! However, it's not the average D&D system, you don't exactly get Exp... what you DO get however, is a little something called 'Electrum'.

We will get into that in a moment! First let's make you, shall we?

A blank screen appears before me, looking roughly like a d&d character sheet... which is sort of expected considering the whole 'allows you to become a D&D character' statement.

Well, I mean, first off, this isn't D&D it's pathfinder... which is basically exactly like d&d 3.5 but with a few balance changes... it's a lot harder to break than D&D 3.5 which sort of made it my preferred system. Ugh. That's really biting me in the ass right now.

If you haven't already noticed, the DICE system automatically aligns itself to whatever system you are most familiar with.

Name:

Level: 0

Class: None

Race: Human

Stats:

STR: 0
DEX: 0
CON: 0
INT: 0
WIS: 0
CHA: 0

Now, a couple things might be going through your head right now, primarily, 'Why aren't I dead. A living creature with 0 in stats literally cannot function'. And well, it's quite simple. This is the tutorial, friend! Rules don't apply here! First, shall we roll your stats?

The sound of dice clinking around from somewhere causes me to flinch

Statistic 1: 13!

Statistic 2: 16!

Statistic 3: 15!

Statistic 4: 15!

Statistic 5: 13!

Statistic 6: 17!

Why don't we select your class, next? After that we will randomly select your starting world from our database!

Those stats are fucking AMAZING!

I can do practically anything with those.

I let out a huff of amusement. "Well now... this might just be a wee bit interesting."

It's obvious I have to choose some form of arcane class here. What if I get put in a world with no magic? That'd instantly make me a top-tier being just by being able to cast magic missile.

The real question is... what do I choose?

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

Man. Min-maxing is fun.

You have 1450 Electrum Remaining

You might be wondering what this 'Electrum' stuff is... well, basically, its this form of strange currency that I am able to use to purchase things in a 'shop', these items can range from corpses of D&D beasts, magical items, and even companions, all the way to skills, feats, attribute points, and level ups.

I have so much electrum because I used quite a few flaws... most of them were negated by my high stats and removed, so it is basically just free electrum!

All that remains is my 'weak will'- which is counterbalanced by the fact I am a spellcaster class- and the largest flaw of all... 'Child'.

Yep. I was forced to design an absolutely badass handsome man, then watch as he was turned into a thirteen-year-old kid.

That child flaw was sort of 'egh.' Like, it also gave me benefits? But it definitely hindered me more than assisted me.

Minus four to my strength and constitution, plus four to my dexterity.

All I have purchased so far is a single level up, and it was incredibly cheap. Only one hundred electrum.

The main problem is that getting to level three takes four HUNDRED electrum. And who knows how much for level four.

I'm debating if I should just spend a load of electrum on my stats, or if I should level up some more.

Name:

Level: 2

Class: Arcanist

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Stats:

Hp: 12/12

Armor Class: 15

STR: 11 (15)
DEX: 19 (15)
CON: 12 (16)
INT: 19
WIS: 13
CHA: 13

Due to being a child, I am technically counted as 'small' size.

I may have JUST enough to get to level four... unless the price multiplies by four every time you try to level...

I cup my chin as I look over my body, I am short, a little Lankey, and wearing a dirty T-Shirt and simple cargo pants, according to the visual model, I have black hair that's about an inch or two long, and deep purple eyes.

I let out a hum and shrug. "Eh, screw it. Even if I can't get to level four, I'll have a bunch of electrum left over, more health, and an additional Arcane Exploit."

I perchase another level, gaining five more health and an extra feat which immediately goes into 'intensify spell'. For my exploit, purchase 'Potent Magic'…

Annnnd can I buy level four?

Cost to level up: 900 Electrum.

Yes. Yes I can.

It seems like to level up I must spend electrum equal to the previous level squared times one hundred. One times one times one hundred to get to level two, two time two times one hundred to get to level three, and three times three times one hundred to get to level four.

If I am right I'll be sixteen hundred to get to level five.

I purchase my next level and try to purchase another.

You do not have enough electrum to purchase another level!

Electrum Required to level up: 1600

Current Electrum Remaining: 150

I tilt my head. 'let's see about upgrading some stats.'

To bring my strength to a twelve I would need... forty electrum. Meh.

To bring my dex to a twenty I would need... forty electrum.

I blink slowly.

To bring my Intelligence to a twenty, I would need one hundred and sixty electrum.

'okay. I don't get it. Are these like, based on which stat is most important for me? The total number perhaps? But in that case, why is my dexterity increase so cheap...'

I cup my chin as I delve into my thoughts.

Maybe it's based on... the base stat?

I have a plus four to my dexterity, and a minus four to my strength, they are both technically fifteen.

I look to my Constitution which requires the same amount of electrum as my Intelligence stat to level up.

I put one point in my dexterity to bring it up to sixteen, watching as it now ALSO requires one hundred and sixty electrum to level up.

Hm. Strange.

I look to my two thirteens, Wisdom and Charisma.

Both cost Forty to level up.

Maybe the cost is multiplied by four every five levels? Hn. I'll need to bring my Intelligence stat up to twenty-one to see if that’s how it works.

I simply decide 'eh. Screw it' then spend eighty more electrum, upgrading my Charisma to fourteen and my Strength to twelve.

I quietly allocate my new spells, I'm deciding to pack quite a few combat spells.

I slowly pick out a name.

Are you finished with your character sheet?

"yes." I slowly nod.

Character Creation ended. Selecting world.

Randomizing.

Randomizing.

Randomizing.

World Selected: Rwby

Would you like to add any additional changes to your character sheet, new options may be available.

I take a look at my character sheet.

Due to the world of Rwby having Aura, your hitdie has been halved before it has been added to your total hit point value.

Hp: 17/17

'shiiiiiit'

I let out a low sigh and shake my head.

I tilt my head. 'wait a minute... if this IS rwby...'

I wordlessly shift my eye color from Purple to Silver.

Silver Eyed trait gained.

'alright. That looks good. I might have picked some form of Faunus, but eh, I'd rather not deal with racism, plus I already have to deal with whatever nonsense having silver eyes gives me, so human it is!'

For now.

The system lets you change your race with electrum as well, so eventually I might fuck around and turn myself into a dragon or something.

Randomizing Start location.

"Very Hard" start selected.

Due to the nature of the start, we will be giving you some information on the place you will be going, firstly, you will be locked within a cell with two guards, you must fight your way out of a vehicle chop shop before you are sold into slavery in one day.

Note: there are 18 enemies in all, 10 are weaker, being level 2-3, 5 are level 4, 2 are level 5 and the boss is level 6. every single one of them has aura.

You have been granted an additional 500 Electrum due to the starting difficulty.

Note: Initializing Startup.

You are Gwyn Balts, a poor orphan without any known family, he lived on the streets of Vale for most of his life, stealing and swindling to barely even scrape past each day. He lived like this for years, good fortune carrying him along in his escapades of crime. However, all good things must eventually come to an end, one day while he was asleep, he was kidnapped off the streets and taken to an underground cell to be sold as a slave. He sat in that room for a solid day, unfed, without water, unable to even sleep.

he eventually passed away within the night, figuring that he would rather die than be a slave.

This is where you come in, a malicious entity, one who wishes for destruction, wealth, women, and luxury, you awake in a damp cell, unbound, dangerous, full of rage, and with full knowledge of your magical power's destructive abilities.

You lie in wait, seconds become minutes, and eventually guards arrive, shoving squirming girl into your cell. A new cellmate? Hm. Maybe you can use this to your advantage. She appears to be quite... familiar... as well.

Note: Initializing Insertion.

I blink and look around, it is dark, all I can hear are whimpers from the surrounding cells, the only light I can see is from a table right in front of my cell, two men sit at the table, quietly playing cards.

I look around my prison cell.

"So... when do we get these fuckin' bastards out of here?" I hear one of the guards ask. "They're really stinking the place up."

The other responds with a huff as he looks to his cards. "Should be in five hours? Ugh. Kind of a shame we can't try anyone out, that new brat would be quite the looker if she was cleaned up a bit."

"Hank." The other sighs. "You know what the boss says."

"Virgins sell for more." They both state at the same time, 'Hank' rolling his eyes.

I slowly blink as I realize something. 'wait... I have a cellmate, right? That's who they are talking abou-'

I turn my head to look at the girl in the corner, she has her knees up to her chest, matted pink, brown and white hair goes down her back, her clothes are dirty and stained, it looks like she has worn them for quite a while.

'Neo?!'

I smirk slightly, my smirk hidden by my hand as I scratch my cheek as I glance back to the two guards, one has his back to the cage.

'They aren't wrong about her being a looker, she is absolutely hot in Canon... the problem is, she looks young... like, younger than she did in Canon if that's possible, the complete midget.'

I suppose that's one waifu down if I can get her out.

A quest has been Received:
A Grand Escape:

Bonus Objectives:
Escape with Neo: [ ]
Slay every single person in the gang that captured you: [ ]
Base Rewards:
1000 Electrum, Aura Unlock.

I spy a key ring on the hip of one of the men, the closest man.

I silently cast a spell and point towards Neo as I bring my knees up to my chest.

"Would you like to get out of here?" I whisper under my breath.

The girl in question flinches and looks around, eventually locking eyes with me.

"Would you?" I continue after a moment of no response.

She slowly nods once.

"How far would you go... just to get out of here?" I ask. "Theft? Assault? Murder?"

She blinks slowly as she seemingly zones out, gaining a devilish smile for a moment before blinking it away.

'ah, so she's a complete psycho sadist even in her cute small form. Neat. I can use that.'

She holds up three fingers.

"Good. I can trust you then... you better not regret this." I whisper as I cast another spell, nothing seems to happen, but I quietly stand up and walk slowly to the bars.

Her eyes widen, but the guards don't even react as I stand there, silently.

'let's take stock of spells. Today I have prepared, Silent Image, Snowball, and Mage Armor- which I shall cast now.'

I silently cast Mage armor, boosting it with my arcane reservoir so it is now technically a sixth level spell and will last for six hours.

Next I have Intensified Snowball.

I hold up a finger creating a spikey ball of ice.

'snowball my ass.'

I flick my finger downwards and create another, the first smashes into the man just in front of me, snapping his neck with a dull crack, the other looks up, looking for the sound, but-

*SPLAT*

A spiked ball of ice cleaves through his head, splattering his brain matter across the floor as cards fall from his hands.

I reach through the bars and snag the key ring at this man's hip.

Neo's eyes are wide, a vicious smirk on her face.

The lock clicks open as I step out, looking to the key ring in my hand.

Neo slowly follows along after me as I look around, there are men women and children in the cells around me.

I silently walk around, unlocking the doors and smirk as I put a finger over my lips and grab Neo's wrist, pulling her away from the sole exit, pausing briefly to grab a holstered gun on one of the guy's hips, and their wallets, Neo stares at a jagged combat knife she loots from the other with a sadistic grin, said grin falls as I look over to her.

I whisper to her. "Don't worry, I don't care if you enjoy murder... I just killed two people without even blinking... we are the same, you and I."

She blinks slowly and nods once as I hold out a hand. "Care to be partners? If we stick together, there's a larger chance we won't get into this sort of situation again. And besides, it's hard to find someone so... agreeable."

She smiles and nods once, taking my hand.

Achievement Gained:
Impress Neo:
she thought this was it. She was aware how... exotic... she looked... she had thought she was going to spend the rest of her days in some old man's dungeon... yet someone had given her hope... It's not every day you find someone so enthralling, so agreeable, so... powerful... someone who doesn't look at her in disgust or horror when the find out about her sadistic side... he doesn't look like much, beyond the gleaming eyes of silver, but she was resigned to death and he pulled her out of it. If she's going to live, it might as well be with him.
Rewards:
100 Electrum, Neo's trust and admiration, she will follow you to the ends of the earth, kill for you, steal for you, but not quite 'die for you'. She's a girl with her own needs, after all. Dying is totally uncool and not really on her priorities list.

I look over to her as we crouch at the very end of the hall, pulling out a box and hiding behind it.

I wordlessly spend some electrum to make this go a little more smoothly, gaining one point to my intelligence, with that I gain four more skill points, one more level one spell, and increase my spell difficulty saves by one.

I put the skill points into Stealth and look over to Neo. "You don't care if I use the others to better our chances of survival, right?"

Neo tilts her head for a moment before shaking it.

"Good. I thought it seemed a little too evil, even for me, but eh. If you're fine with it, I might as well be. Even if they all die, we will escape."

Neo nods.

"But seeing as how I don't like leaving my debts unpaid... once we get out... once we get into a position where we are strong... let's kill every single one of these bastards in their name." I grin, causing Neo to smirk viciously and nod vigorously. "If they die today, they will be avenged... eventually."

I cast a cantrip, smirking as a deep voice echoes throughout the room. "I have freed you all. You have two options. Stay here and suffer, being raped, tormented, and tortured for the rest of your lives... or you can stand, pick up a chair, a pipe, or another weapon... and you can fight for your life against the bastards whom have kidnapped you. Fight and live for a purpose."

I see doors slowly open as weak, starved looking, people slowly glance around, my speech seems to have gotten through to some of them, and seeing those few people take a stand, others seem to get the courage to rise as well.

They move around the room, kicking the two corpses and looking for anything to use, some picks up planks of wood, others break the legs of the table off to wield as clubs, others manage to find a pocket knife on one of the men.

"Now go." The deep voice hisses. "Fight."

One of the better-looking prisoners- health wise, at least- looks back and raises a hand, wielding a club in it, then turns to the door and rushes out, quickly followed by the rest.

Neo and I creep out and slowly walk along the corridor, we hear shouts from the other side of the door, I crack open the door just in time to hear the popping of gunfire.

I peek out to see a long corridor, at the end of it I can see the group of prisoners fighting against people wearing suits, hacking away at them with machetes.

It's two versus like twenty, so the two men are quickly beaten down from the flurry of attacks as Neo and I take up the rear. It doesn't even matter that they had aura.

Neo and I step over a dead man as we reach the end of the hallway, we hear shrieks from the other side of the door as I peak through the door that had been broken off its hinges.

The other side is a warehouse with a nearby fire escape, the prisoners are getting absolutely slaughtered, so I quickly put up an illusion along the wall of the wall with nothing out of the ordinary.

I grab Neo's hand and quickly rush down the illusionary corridor I have created, making it to the fire escape

I open the door and come face to face with a man, he has a cigarette in one hand, a machete in the other, I can see that his aura is active, as it sparks to life around him, but that doesn't matter, I raise a hand and strike him right in the chest with a hunk of ice, his aura crackles as he staggers backwards, he seems shaken and stunned, a little out of focus from my blow.

I shoot him again, this time the ice shatters his aura completely, sending him sprawling across the floor as ice bites into his flesh, he is left with an absolutely grievous wound to his torso as he falls backwards, letting out a pained wheeze.

His head smashes against the pavement of the alley, and he falls unmoving, his chest weakly rising and falling as he barely remains alive in his unconscious state.

Neo lifts her knife and stabs the man in the throat, there is a spray of blood that gets over her shirt as she grins down at the now very dead man.

I quickly grab her wrist and tug her along as she snags his wallet.

"We need to get out of here. Quickly." I hiss back to her.

She nods as we rush out of the alleyway and across the broken street.

I purchase another level as we slip into the opposite alleyway.

Your Aura has been unlocked!

'Useful. But not now. System can I buy a rope?'

Seeing how a single point of Electrum is worth 100 gold in this system's D&D market, you can purchase items of up to 99 Gold from the D&D shop for free. The downside of this ability is that you may purchase up to 99 gold every hour. Say for instance you make a purchase two cure light wounds potions, you would need to spend 1 electrum despite the fact that the second potion is only 1 GP over the limit.

'oh... that might have been helpful back inside.'

We continue running as fast as we can for a good minute or two, and seeing as how we haven't been caught yet, we might just be in the clear.

A single five-foot rope appears within my hands as we turn another corner, Neo widens her eyes as I quietly cast another spell, I spy no nearby security cameras, so this is a 'safe' alley.

The rope springs from my hands and stands straight up, there is a small warble in the air near the top of the rope as I quickly walk rush over.

I point to the rope which now has dozens of knots tied with it.

"Climb it."

She blinks slowly, but follows my command and slowly clambers up to the top, she stops before she reaches the warble and looks down at me cautiously.

"Go inside."

She looks a little conflicted and puts her hand up inside the vortex.

Seeing as how she wasn't hurt by it, she nods once and climbs up inside.

I quickly follow after her, climbing up into the darkness.

I see Neo silently looking around the small distorted space, it’s a fairly large room, about four feet tall and with a four-foot ring around a slightly raised hole in the floor. It is extremely dark in here; I can barely see Neo's outline from the dim light coming from the hole.

It is going to be night soon... so it's probably a good thing I cast this.

Neo stares at me with wide eyes as I pull up the rope and leave it coiled to the side.

She gestures around.

"Why didn't I do this earlier?" I question "Well, because it only lasts seven hours. And I can't move it once it's here."

She shakes her head then tilts her head as she gestures around again.

"Oooh how am I doing this." I blink as the girl nods.

"You probably wouldn't believe 'semblance bullshitery'?" I ask.

She shakes her head.

I let out a sigh and scratch the back of my head. "Well, uh... can you keep a secret?"

She nods once and zips her fingers across her lips, saying that her lips are sealed.

"It's uh... a special ability that I have... the reason why I don't exactly tell anyone about it is because, well, firstly, it practically ignores the rules of the world, and two, I don't want to be some fucking test subject! Do you know what Atlas would do if they knew I had some strange non-semblance power?! I might be able to kill someone with aura with my powers, but an army?! A trained Atlesian specialist instead of a thug with aura?! Absolutely not!"

She nods along, eyes sparkling.

Neo looks down into the strange raised hole in the floor, it has a rim about four inches higher than the rest, probably designed that way so people don't accidentally flop out of it.

"So..." I begin. "it's just the two of us, hm?"

She nods once.

"I suppose I should introduce myself" I grin as I hold out a hand. "My name is Gwyn, Gwyn Balts. I lived on the street for a few years before those thugs grabbed me. What about you?"

She looks around and makes a talking motion with her hand then crosses her arms.

"Can't talk, hm?" I ask.

She shakes her head causing me to frown slightly. "Ah well. I suppose I'll have to call you something then... uhhh. Nea? Like Neapolitan ice cream? I mean, you definitely look the part"

Her eyes widen as she points at me.

"Wait... that's your name?" I ask slowly.

She makes an 'O' with her fingers.

"Neo? Neopolitan?"

She nods once with a grin.

"That's sort of a long name, do you care if I call you Neo?"

She holds up two fingers.

"It is two names? Your first and last?"

She nods once with a smile.

"I see." I mutter

I hold out a hand and clean the blood and dirt from Neo with Prestidigitation, then do the same to myself, Neo's hair untangles, leaving it silky and smooth.

The girl's eyes widen as she quickly brushes her hands through her hair.

I purchase a backpack and a couple of bedrolls from the shop, along with two warm looking blankets causing Neo to freeze.

"My ability definitely has some use... it's like I'm walking into a store and just flat-out taking stuff... the main problem is that it only seems to be old-timey stuff... like lanterns instead of flashlights, swords instead of guns. I also seem to have a 'Purchase limit'… meaning I can't technically crash the economy."

I scratch my chin. "Well, I mean, technically I could... but it'd take probably years of storing items."

Her eyes are wide as she looks over the bed roll.

I silently pull out a water flask and two square packages.

"It's probably been a while since you have eaten or drunk anything... so here, take this." I state as I hand the girl one of the boxed lunches and the water flask.

I frown. "hn. It's dark in here."

I create a rock and silently place it in between us as it begins to grow brightly.

"Don't worry about the hole, Neo." I begin as I spy her widen her eyes and look to the window below. "Since I pulled the rope up, it's practically inaccessible. Not even light can get out."

She looks to the rope and nods as she slowly opens the box of rations and widens her eyes, within is it dried meats and fruit, small rolls of cheeses, rolls of bread.

She is practically salivating.

She looks up, claps her hands together and bows her head before digging in.

I let out a huff of amusement as I open my own, revealing the exact same thing.

I open one of my rolls partially, take some cheese, and a few dried pieces of meat and place them within, then I take a big old bite.

Damn. This is pretty good for travel rations. We'll probably have some left over for breakfast.

"Neo, when this space disappears it will drop us down to the floor below, soooo uh... sorry for your back in advance."

She pauses mid bite as she comprehends the information, then just shrugs in acceptance.

I open my menu again and look over my few tabs.

Relationships:

'…'

I mentally select the option.

Neo Politan:
Neo is absolutely infatuated with you. Not only have you saved her from a life of rape and torture, you accept her for who she is! That makes you definitive boyfriend material. Then there you go, summoning food and water out of thin air! What are you?! Some sort of god?! If she would kill a man for you before, now she would massacre a puppy orphanage for you. No questions asked. She is glad you have accepted her as your companion... partners in crime! How romantic!
Note: this character is mentally unstable, should you proceed with your relationship expect yandere shenanigans.

'sooooo, she's into me. That's good.'

After I finish my food, I decide to set up my bedroll and lay down.

'I really need to re-prepare my spells soon.'

I stare up at the ceiling.

'Oh. Right. I unlocked my aura, didn't I? Plus I have a new feat for becoming level five.'

Aura is a separate bar from your Hp, it is used as additional hp and is spent enhancing yourself and activating your semblance. Your maximum aura pool is always double your health.

Whenever you 'activate' your aura, you spend 5 Aura per minute to gain an untyped +1 in your Str and Dex stat per character level,  (Thus a level 20 character would gain +20 in both Strength and Dexterity) plus, you also gain Fast Healing 1

Your semblance will be unlocked eventually.

Your aura regenerates at a rate of 1/10th of your maximum every 10 minutes.

'So, to keep my aura activated at all times, I'd need five hundred aura, hm? It's not impossible, but it's still a long distance away.'

'I should focus on feats right now...'

I re-enter the shop, I'm probably going to get two feats, one free for reaching level five, then I'll buy another.

'let's see here... extended spell... annnnd-'

Setting Related Feats:

I blink slowly as I open up the tab.

Aura related feats, faunus feats, aura techniques, silver eyed feats...

There's a lot.

Bestow Aura (Aura Feat)
Prerequisites: Level 5, Your Aura must be Unlocked.
Benefits:
You have gained the ability to unlock Aura within others, normally, this would be required for a person to have aura AT ALL, but you are a special case.

I select that feat with a small smile, this way, Neo will be useful in combat and not die from a stray bullet.

'I wish I could see her stats, though.'

A screen opens before me.

Your 'Party'.

Neo Politan Level 1
Class: Non-Combatant Human Civilian

'Huh?! I could literally just PUNCH her and kill her! What the fuck?!'

"Hey, Neo? Do you care if I unlock your Aura really fast?" I ask as I sit up.

She slowly looks over and tilts her head, then just shrugs.

I reach out and touch her shoulder.

'Alright, how does this-'

*Crackle*

The girl blinks slowly as a warm light surrounds her, it is pink, white, and brown in color.

She pauses her eating for a moment to look down at her hands as the crackling light passes over her.

The light eventually fades into nothing as she blinks slowly and looks over to me.

"Well... you- uh- have aura now." I mutter.

Neo Politan Level 2

Aura: 22/22

Stats:

Str: 14

Con: 14
Int: 10

Her stats are strange... she has no feats, no skills, and her class doesn't look like it gives her any sort of new abilities.

"We should really work on your strength." I decide with a small nod as I lay back down. "With aura, now you won't die if I threw a pebble at you, but you are still far from strong... a little bit stronger and faster, maybe, but I'd want you to be able to hold your own."

Neo slowly looks over to me.

She flops down beside me.

"What are you doing?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

She blinks at me and smiles as she puts her own pillow behind her head.

"You want to sleep together?" I slowly ask.

She nods once.

I roll my eyes and look back up at the ceiling. "Do what you want. I don't really care one way or the other. Whatever makes you happy."

I close my eyes and try to get some sleep as I feel the small psychopath wraps her arms around me and uses me as a pillow.

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

We sit in silence, hidden inside a large crate, side by side.

"Don't worry, Neo... it'll get better once we get to Patch." I quietly whisper to her, my voice carrying throughout the cargo container, the sloshing of waves in the far background not loud enough to drown out my voice.

She slowly looks over and tilts her head.

"Why are we going to patch?" I ask for her.

She nods once.

"Patch is a lot calmer than Vale." I answer. "In Vale, there's hundreds of gangs... possibly thousands... but on Patch everything is... smaller. There's a huntsmen academy pre-school just around the corner, and I've heard that Vale's number one huntsmen teaches there... if we hang around, it's clear that crime will be lower, and it will allow us to gain strength slowly but surely."

She cocks her head to the side and shrugs before eventually nodding, seemingly okay with that plan... well, even if she wasn't, we are both on the boat now, so there's really no going back.

"As for what we'll do once we have that strength." I continue.

She slowly looks over and tilts her head, apparently, she had been wondering about that.

"I'm thinking..." I begin slowly. "A gang... but not just any gang, I want it to be special... strong... powerful! And I have a plan to make it so!"

Neo blinks over at me and does a small rotating gesture with her hand to tell me to go on.

"Have you heard of... Mountain Glen?" I ask.

She slowly nods once.

"A failed settlement out towards mountain Glen, the city still remains there, full of grimm... but did you know there was actually an underground train line all the way from Vale to Glen? When mountain glenn fell, those tunnels were collapsed to prevent the grimm from entering the kingdom. If we can clear them out and secure them, we would have possibly the greatest way to bring contraband in and out of the city."

Her eyes widen as she nods in understanding.

"Maybe we can actually do something when you unlock your semblance." I mutter as I cup my chin.

She tilts her head then shrugs, wondering what her semblance could possibly be.

'Well... I wonder how long it'll be till we get to Patch.'

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

We quietly slink through the abandoned house, I let out a quiet satisfied hum as I look around, several beowolves lay dead our feet, rapidly evaporating.

A quest has been completed:

Pest Extermination:
You have found a nice little home outside of the city of Patch, a simple log cabin, it's run down, broken, and most importantly abandoned. The only problem is that a couple of pests reside inside the broken husk.
Objective:
Slay the 5 Beowolves inhabiting the house: (5/5) [x]
Slay the Alpha Beowolf: (1/1) [x]
Rewards: A 'safe' place to sleep, 400 Electrum.

I look to the broken door and let out a quiet sigh. "Well... I mean... it's a start."

Neo nods twice and slowly looks around.

This place really is a mess.

"We should probably continue sleeping in the pocket... those grimm just walked in here, and with the door like that, literally anything could come in while we are sleeping."

She seems to agree with that, but hey... we now have a place to steadily build up.

A Quest has been received:

Fixer-Upper:
Your new home is run down, broken, defenseless, and completely trashed. Rusty nails, pieces of broken glass, and splinters litter the floor. Honestly, you would be better off just sleeping outside, you'd probably catch less diseases and be safer.
Objective:
Repair the house to 10% or greater 'Durability' within a week: [ ]
Rewards: 100 Electrum, your house isn't a dump.

I blink slowly as a certain item comes to mind.

Wait a minute...

'hey, system, I can purchase items from the pathfinder dice game, right?'

Affirmative.

How... exactly is that calculated?

One hundred gold is worth 1 electrum, thus you may buy an item worth 14000 Gp for 140 Electrum, however please be aware that that every 15000 GP the item's price is multiplied by 1.5. thus an item worth 30000 gold would instead be worth 600 Electrum instead of 300. Keep in mind that this price is further increased as the items you want grow more and more expensive.

I glance to a screen at the side

Current Electrum: 770

Fuck it. This is enough.

I spend my electrum on a certain item that will streamline absolutely EVERYTHING.

You have lost 130 Electrum

Suddenly a golden lyre appears in my hands, it is studded with jewels blue in color.

Neo senses some form of change causing her to look back to me, blinking at the fancy lyre in my hands.

She blinks slowly then points at it.

"Oh? This?" I ask with a smirk. "I just grabbed it with my powers... it took quite a bit out of me... buuuut."

I begin strumming on the lyre with a smirk.

Floorboards crack and begin rapidly prying themselves from the floor as I continue playing, the entire house shifts around us as I continue playing.

Her eyes widen as she quickly steps towards me and stays close to me as new floorboards begin slotting themselves in the floor.

"Pretty cool, right?" I smirk as she stares at the side of my head with wide eyes.

The door is sat up and quickly put back on its hinges.

'The Lyre is so fucking overpowered.'

Lyre of Building:
This magical instrument is usually made of gold and inlaid with numerous gems. If the proper chords are struck, a single use of this lyre negates any attacks made against inanimate construction (walls, roof, floor, and so on) within 300 feet. This includes the effects of a horn of blasting, a disintegrate spell, or an attack from a ram or similar siege weapon. The lyre can be used in this way once per day, with the protection lasting for 30 minutes.
The lyre is also useful with respect to building. Once a week, its strings can be strummed so as to produce chords that magically construct buildings, mines, tunnels, ditches, etc. The effect produced in 30 minutes of playing is equal to the work of 100 humans laboring for 3 days. Each hour after the first, a character playing the lyre must make a DC 18 Perform (string instruments) check. If it fails, he or she must stop and cannot play the lyre again for this purpose until a week has passed.

The best part is, you don't actually need to make said perform check for the first hour... meaning I can basically do six days of work from one hundred people in an hour.

By far one of the strongest items... probably THE strongest for its price range.

The windows are blown out and replaced with simple planks of wood.

Where is all these new planks coming from, you might ask?

Another tree falls in the forest, rapidly being carved up into pieces to replace parts of this house.

This'll be an hour well spent.

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

We sit in the basement of our new home, the lyre is out of charge at the moment- at least for building stuff- so now I guess we must wait to build that outer wall.

Neo slowly looks around and smiles at me.

"Pretty cool, right?"

She nods repeatedly.

I gesture around with a bright smile. "With this, we are now completely safe."

I point towards the large mattress sat in the corner. "We've got a place to sleep."

I gesture towards the barrel of water and stacks of adventuring rations. "Food and water."

Then I gesture towards a large open space. "and finally enough room for you to begin your training."

She slumps back, her head leaning on my shoulder.

"We should start your training tomorrow. It has been a long day... so we need rest."

She flashes me a thankful smile as she flops back on the mattress.

I stare up at the ceiling as I lay down beside her. "We should probably do a few more things before this is classified as 'safe'… the bunker was good, but we should probably steal from a security camera store sometime soon, get some wires, some cameras, and a- oh wait... we have no power..."

I cup my chin and let out a low hum.

"We'll worry about that later, I guess." I sigh as I look to the message I got a while back.

I silently look over feats as I watch Neo continue to try and do a backflip.

She is failing quite a bit. It was a little amusing the first two or three times she tried it, but now it's just sad.

"Neo... maybe you should try starting small... train your flexibility by touching your toes or something... maybe some Yoga?" I suggest.

She slowly looks over, her face slightly bruised, then shrugs and sits down on the floor and begins trying to touch her toes.

I can see the bruises already healing from her aura.

She might be a psychopathic killer and will become one of the largest threats in Rwby... but right now, she's still a little teenager, she got a cool new power, and she is abusing the hell out of it.

As of right now, I am thinking about purchasing a feat that will be fairly good for myself.

Leadership (3.5):
Prerequisite: Level 6
Having this feat enables the character to attract loyal companions, devoted followers, and subordinates who assist them

I'd gain a level four cohort, then a bunch of followers.

The main problem is that this feat costs quite a bit due to it being a three point five feat... pathfinder gets it in one level.

I'll save up and get pathfinder's I guess... I don't really need it right now anyways... a bunch of followers right now would make this basement overcrowded and stuffy.

I have spent most of today looking at feats... I've realized that Pathfinder has like zero good metamagic feats like three point five had, the only good one is 'Intensify' which was dropped from a plus four spell level all the way down to a plus one, making actually viable.

Create Artificial Dust:
Prerequisites: Caster Lv 3rd, at least one 'Elemental' spell.
This feat allows you to make 'Empty Dust Crystals' to contain the elemental energy of your spells.
Dust can be used for many things, weaponry, power, and even electricity! It also enhances your spellcasting. While using an elemental spell of the same element as a held, fully charged, dust crystal, your spell's caster level increases by 1 for every 'Grade' of the dust crystal, and does 1 extra damage per dice for every 2 'Grades'. A dust crystal used in this manner is rendered inert, you may not recharge it with any spells.
Dust comes in five grades, Lesser, Average, Greater, Military Grade, and Finally 'Pure'.
The cost to make an Empty Dust Crystal is dependent on the grade of elemental power it is designed to hold.
Lesser: 50 Gold (Can hold elemental spells of level 1-2)
Average: 900 Gold (Can hold elemental spells of level 3-4)
Greater: 2500 Gold (Can hold elemental spells of level 5-6)
Military Grade: 4900 Gold (Can hold elemental spells of level 7-8)
Pure: 8100 Gold (Can hold elemental spells of level 9)
Please note that dust does not function in an area without an atmosphere.

This isn't really cost effective, is it?

Maybe I could auction it?

Yes, I had unlocked an auction function upon reaching level six.

Honestly, a military grade dust crystal would probably be worth more than forty nine electrum... that adds two damage per dice to ANY elemental spell?

Even a single crystal will probably earn me more than double of what I will have paid to create it.

Extra magic damage is incredible.

If this system is multi-world and multi-system, I can see mages from three point five purchasing these for like... thousands of electrum potentially.

I look to another benefit I can purchase.

Unlock third party spells (Sorcerer/Wizard) (Cantrips)
Unlocks the use of all level 0 third party Wizard/Sorcerer spells.
Cost: 100 Electrum.

Fuck it. I'll take that. Third party spells are broken and the 'lesser third-party spells' requires this.

And with that I have learned my most powerful spell...

Pants!

I look over to Neo again.

'oh right... she's sixteen. I sort of ignored that part about her description.'

She is facing me, standing and touching her toes, not even really paying attention to me.

'eh. I saved her life, the least she can do is accept this.'

I briefly point at her and lower my hand as her pants drop, she freezes in place in abject horror, I take a moment to burn her toned legs and silky white panties into my brain, then glance away as she quickly pulls up her pants and looks up to me with a blush.

I let out an awkward cough as I look back, she claps her hands in front of her face and bows her head.

"You don't need to apologize, Neo." I shrug as I roll over on the bed. "If you want to take your pants off, by all means, I'm a hormonal teen, I don't really care. Do what you want. I won't be all that broken up about whatever you choose."

I glance back to see her blushing profusely, her face in her hands.

She walks over and faceplants on the bed beside me, a complete blushing mess as she quickly coils up in blankets.

I blink as something triggers my mental alarm.

I had installed basic security with 'Build Mode' a while back, it cost a full thousand for four clairvoyance points and a general alarm, but I'd say that's worth it for security.

'alright what sort of beowolf is it this time?' I sigh as I look to the rings on my index finger and thumb.

I tap them together and pull them apart, as if I were zooming in on a tablet, creating a screen made of magic.

Standing before my house are two figures, the first is a small blond girl, maybe six years old... the second is another girl, sat in a wagon.

"Well... there are two children outside."

Neo slowly rolls over and shimmies to my left, pressing her body into mine as she looks at the screen.

A quest has been received:

Red like Roses:
What's this? Two children come across your abode in the middle of a grimm infested forest? How they have not already been killed, nobody knows, but unless you do something they WILL be killed. The butterfly effect is a bitch, and their uncle might just be a little late...
Objective:
Protect the Rose-Xaiolong Girls: [ ]
Survive for 3 minutes: [ ]
Reward: 1500 Electrum.

'f-fifteen hundred?! A pack of beowolves was worth four hundred!'

I take off my rings and hand them to Neo. "You stay here."

She blinks slowly.

"I hate to say this, Neo, but right now you'd probably hold me back" I sigh.

She flinches, a little hurt by the comment.

"Like I said, I hate to say it, but it's true."

I quickly rush over to the trap door in the corner of the room and climbs up and out, unlocking it and clambering up into the mostly empty house.

"AAAAHHHH!" I hear a childish voice shout as I kick open the front door.

Time seemingly slows down as I activate my aura, my strength, and speed are doubled; I see a maskless beowolf slowly running on all fours towards the two girls.

I lunge forwards, a sickle springing into my hands.

The beowolf barely has time to turn its head before I behead it in a single slash.

'System: purchase one more point into intelligence.'

Confirmed, 160 Electrum has been redacted.

I stand to my full height and look around, dozens of beowolves slowly creep out of the surroundings.

Oh damn.

Have two packs seriously converged on these two? I can see two alphas.

I brush a hand down my shirt, casting cat's grace upon myself.

Luckily, I still had all my combat spells prepared.

This is going to suuuuck.

There is a howl as the beowolves lunge forwards as one, I rush to the side as they near.

I swerve around one of the outer ones and hold out a hand, a colossal bolt of lightning exploding from my hand and crashing along a line and into the distance.

That single attack has killed more than half of the grimm in a single swoop.

I turn and go to the other side, the grimm begin splitting up as I weave through them, landing crippling blows to limit their movement and moving onto the next.

I do some quick calculations with one of my new feats.

'6+6+6+1+(3-3)'

An alpha beowolf lunges for me, but I place a hand on its chest, causing crackling electricity to arc through it.

Its eyes and mouth smoke as it slowly falls backwards, rapidly evaporating into nothing but grimm mist.

The arm of a beowolf is cleaved off as I duck under its swing and counter with my own, I see it line up with several over beowolves, so I hold out a hand and shoot it with a point-blank lightning bolt.

More smoke billows from the earth as a second trench appears in the dirt, I whirl around my sickle cleaving through the throat of another beowolf as I shift it into a reverse grip.

In a mere thirty seconds I have reduced their numbers to just five.

I dash towards the first as it leaps at me, my blade slashes across its chest as I slide under it, causing it to collapse to the ground, chest spewing smoke.

The hairs on the back of my neck raise as I dive forwards.

*CRASH*

I glance back just in time to see a beowolf absolutely covered in bone armor land where I was moments before I moved.

'holy shit! That thing is so fast!'

I'm able to move more than twice as fast as an alpha beowolf as I am now, yet this thing is moving nearly as quick as I am... holy shit.

The distance between us isn't that large at all... and I can tell from the crater he left that he is far stronger than me, maybe four or five times.

I hit him point blank with a lightning bolt as I turn and slash a nearing beowolf in half, I behead a second and a third, then I am forced to dodge the big armored warg's attack again, barely scraping past as its claws cut into my shirt.

My hand wraps around its bulky wrist as it goes past, more math rapidly going through my head.

'6*3+6+3+2*1'

It lets out a snarl and hops backwards as sparks arc around its arm.

That attack did some serious damage to it, its arm continues to twitch slightly with every moment.

I whirl around and hurl a dagger at a lesser beowolf attacking the two girls, the knife sinks into its side, killing it.

I cross my arms in front of me as a twig snaps behind me, I am launched through the air as the big beowolf's claws tear into my aura, it crackles menacingly.

Another hit like that and my aura would be completely gone... hell, I don't even know if I'd be able to keep up my aura for another minute... so this thing needs to die. Now.

Another dagger soars through the air, piercing a beowolf's back as it falls forwards, rapidly evaporating, this time I am ready for the beowolf, it lunges forwards as I glance away, but I look back, my hand reaching out and touching its chest.

'3*3+4*2+2*1'

*CRACK*

This time instead of lunging backwards, the beowolf is launched backwards, he smashes into a tree and writhes as electricity arcs across its body.

I take this moment to lunge forwards and smack the beast again, doing some more 'quick math'.

'6*5-3-3-4-1'

With the final attack his body begins slowly evaporating.

Grimm smoke begins slowly seeping from in between its bone armor.

I let out a long breath as a smile grows on my face.

Sacred geometry is so fucking overpowered. And this system can't say anything because it's all base game!

The feat basically allows me to take a certain spell, add on some metamagic effects, up to a maximum of two, then roll a couple of dice, then I can get one of three numbers by adding, multiplying, dividing, or subtracting the results together I can cast the spell with the metamagic effect at the base cost with no downsides.

The only problem is that I can only do it up to my maximum spell level, thus I cannot use Sacred Geometry to put empower on something like lightning bolt as I am now, as that would be a fifth level spell, I was only able to stack empower and intensify on shocking grasp due to my magical lineage and it lowering the metamagic cost on shocking grasp by one.

I look around slowly.

A quest has been completed!

There is a single 'Caw' of a crow as black grimm smoke slowly wafts around the clearing, next is a loud thump as a man lands beside the two girls.

Yep. That's Qrow Branwen. And this means I'm still a good ten years before canon and Summer Rose has died.

Cinder has probably been labeled as a murderer and fled Mistral as well.

Neo was twenty-five in canon?! What the shit?! I mean, she did sort of manhandle not only Yang but even a Maiden Cinder as well, soooo eh, I sort of believe it.

"You should watch your children." I deadpan over to the man fawning over the two girls, looking for any sort of scrape or bruise.

He glances over, his red eyes locking with mine, I can see him briefly freeze as he notices my gleaming eyes.

I decide to continue with my original point. "If I hadn't been paying attention... had I been even a second slower... they both would have died."

I turn around and walk back inside, slamming the front door behind me.

I wordlessly turn and lock the knob, dead bolt, the sliding bolt, and finally the chain lock.

I turn and walk over towards the hidden trap door and open it, reaching over and grabbing the carpet as I slowly lower it, making sure the carpet flips over the top.

I slide down the ladder after locking the trap door as well and smirk over at an impressed Neo. "So. How did I do?"

She gives me quiet applause as she flashes me a bright grin.

"That good?" I ask, causing the girl to nod.

"Well, I guess I have come a long way from where we started... with aura I could honestly take out that entire group that captured us... do we even know who they are? I know I was talking a lot of shit about killing them in revenge for all those people who we used as meatshields, but like, do we actually know who they are?"

The girl's smile falls briefly as she tilts her head, she suddenly perks up, however, so it appears she has thought of something.

She rolls over and grabs a card and hands it to me.

It's some form of identification, for some dude named 'Mahogany Aryl'

"Oh! Is this the guy we murdered in that alley?"

She nods repeatedly.

"That's right!" I gasp. "You took his wallet! Good job, Neo! You really thought ahead!"

We both know she only wanted the money in the wallet.

I sit down on the bed and decide to look through the quest I got, due to everything I killed, I probably finished quite a few bonus quests!

Realistic and Cheaper Dragons and Followers: (50000 Electrum)
the base D&D system, when it was nothing more than a game, it never intended for the players to gain a dragon ally in a meaningful way, you could gain a dragon cohort, sure, yet the cost was absolutely ridiculous and they would never grow even if in the world, years go by. Not anymore.
You may now gain a dragon as a cohort as long as it's CR does not surpass your level –2, instead of the ridiculous CR+8, then after that, your dragon grows on its own and your level simply does not matter.
if one thousand years pass, and you do not gain another level, you would simply have a cr 20+ Creature as a cohort, while being a level 7, even if the rules do not technically allow that.
Additionally, you may have dragons as followers as long as their CR+10 is something you are able to control. They are also unhindered by any 'rules' and are free to grow. The same applies to followers and cohorts which are not dragons, it makes no sense that they are unable to grow stronger just because you are not, so this perk makes it so! (However, it is really slow)

'd-dragon cohorts?'

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

A couple things about my new abilities...

Firstly, I am now a 'Durable' race. Meaning my hitdie stopped getting cut in half... that gave me a fairly monstrous aura... second off, being a mythic character has given me many benefits, firstly, my spells count as four levels higher when determining duration, that stacked with my Arcanist ability to increase spell's caster level already, then suddenly a rope trick is lasting a full fifteen hours instead of seven... then I can increase the caster level by two and add metamagic to it, meaning technically I can extend it even further.

Ugh. Then my other ability. 'Realistic and Cheaper Dragons'.

First off, yes. I will be getting a dragon cohort... secondly, it is sort of impossible to gain any form of dragon follower. Even the weakest dragon worth getting would count as a level twelve follower... the maximum level of follower I can gain is six.

Now, I have thought of a couple of ways to get around this, firstly, the Epic Leadership feat from third edition, it sort of uncaps the level of followers you can command. The main problem is that I need to be level twenty one to get it, so it's unrealistic.

The second option is one of these two:

Followers Uncapped: 10000 Electrum, requires the 'Leadership' Feat
Ah followers, they are nothing but mere minions, only able to ever reach level 6. that makes them just the tiniest bit useless.
This ability uncaps your followers and your leadership score, from now on you will have half as many lv 7 followers as you do lv 6 followers, half as many lv 8 followers as you do lv 7 followers, half as many lv 9 followers as you do lv 8 followers, and so on.

Fuse Followers: 5000 Electrum, requires the 'Leadership' Feat
Let's be real. Followers below level four are completely useless. If only there was a way to trade in all those level 1s for even level 2s.
Well now there is! You may give up 20 Lv 1 followers in order to gain a single Level 2 follower without decreasing your Lv 2 followers at all despite nearly everything scaling off your level 1 followers, this in turn grants you more level 3, 4, 5, and 6 followers.
Another benefit of this perk is that you can do the same with level 2 followers! Sacrificing 4 level 2 followers to gain a single level 3! you can then do this to level four, level five, and even level six! Creating followers that should technically not even exist in the first place!

Considering my new perk, I should get a dragon cohort, as for the dragon familiars? Those are really far away.

Honestly Cohorts and familiars are really just a way to gain waifus from other series... like, I can just flat out steal the appearance, yet make their personalities whatever I want. I could do soooo many things. I could grab a psion familiar and name it Tatsumaki, make it a complete short-stack and call it a day... or maybe create a busty version of Remilia scarlet... maybe make a psychopathic- but extremely loyal- Nezuko. the choices are literally endless.

Maybe I should grab things from anime and games I will never consider going to...

That one psychic girl from guilty gear is pretty hot... uh, who was she again? The dark skinned dandere girl with two massive swords? I think her name was... Ram...lethal?

Considering I am making them from the ground up, I honestly could just give them whatever personality I want. I'd have to make some of them 'evil' I'm sure, but eh, they're hot.

Probably don't want to touch a few figures... like a certain Gap Yokai, considering if she really wanted, she might even be able to just show up one day and kill me for my insolence.

I look to Neo who looks absolutely tired. "Well, let's back to your training, I feel we have rested enough."

She lets out a quiet whimper, I have been absolutely working her to the bone... but my methods are working, her stats have slightly increased, the same with her level.

Once I get her to level four or five, I'll feel comfortable about going back to Vale.

We both stand up and get into fighting stances, Neo narrows her eyes slightly.

I blink at her as she stands there. "What are you doing? Hit me!"

The word shatters as a lithe fist smashes into my sternum, causing me to take a step back.

We both pause.

"What the fuck just happened?!" I ask.

She looks down at her hands, then looks as her entire body shatters, she is now standing a foot to the left.

"You unlocked your semblance?" I whisper.

She shrugs but nods.

"Let's postpone the training, we need to see what this does so we can incorporate it into your fighting style... but I don't want you in any way to overly rely on it. I want you to be able to hold your own without using your semblance at every chance you get."

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

I sit cross-legged on the bed as I watch Neo. "Alright, now try a faunus."

The pink and brown haired girl is replaced with a small faunus girl with two droopy dog ears on her head.

"Uhhh Lamp."

She is replaced with a simple lamp that isn't turned on.

I cup my chin. "So, you can't produce light... or any sound... good to know."

Neo reappears as she lets out a quiet pant, she is getting just a little bit tired so I suppose I should make this the last one.

"Can you try to be someone that already exists?" I slowly ask.

She blinks slowly, she steps forwards, closely observing me for a moment, then the next I am looking right at myself.

"Ohoho." I grin. "Your semblance is fucking AWESOME, Neo... do you have any idea what we could do with it?"

Neo's illusion of myself shatters, revealing that she is stood there with a confused expression.

I smirk at her confused expression and decide to elaborate.

"Blackmail. We could do soooooo much blackmail."

Her eyes widen considerably as she thinks of what that means.

"Let's say that some dude is giving us a problem, you create an illusion of him sleeping with someone, then we send it to his wife, or maybe we murder someone on camera while you ARE him! Hell if some stuck up bitch is giving us problems we could even just put 'her' nudes on the internet!"

She grins and does a small clap, seemingly pleased with her new ability to ruin lives.

I frown as another mental alarm goes off, opening up a screen to see that Qrow is snooping around our home.

"Ugh." I sigh Neo steps around the screen and leans against me, her head going over my shoulder as she looks at the screen. "We need to move out. I can't believe Vale's number one huntsman is harassing us."

Neo turns her head and blinks owlish at me.

"Yeah, that's Qrow Branwen, he works under the headmaster of Beacon, Ozpin... he apparently has some sort of infatuation with silver eyes, not in the sexual way mind you but in the 'let's get these children to fight against the grimm because silver eyes slay grimm' or something, so that makes me, boy who looks as if he is thirteen- I'm sixteen by the way- who killed a horde of grimm led by something that can singlehandedly kill a team of first-year Beacon students- a veeeery high priority to him."

I cup my chin as I spy Qrow look through the tinted windows. "I wonder what'll happen if I shoot lightning at him..."

Neo blinks slowly and gains a devious expression.

"I'll go give him a shocking welcome then." I grin as I slowly stand up.

I toss the rings to her. "If you want to watch, by all means."

She nods twice and slips on the rings.

I climb out of the basement and silent walk to the door.

I throw it open as he reaches for the handle.

Crackling electricity appears in my hand as I take a swing at him.

His eyes widen as he dives backwards, aura fairing.

*CRACK*

The electrical punch barely brushes up against him, the small sparks of lightning arcing to his body and carrying him backwards, he slides across the ground, doing a single backflip, and lands with a crouch as he draws his sword.

Who knows how much damage that punch did, I really wasn't trying all that hard.

"That was a warning." I lowly growl. "Leave this place or you'll regret it."

He brings a hand up to where my hand struck. "Damn, kid, what's your problem."

"Leave us alone. I was being polite when I saved your family, but if you are going to harass us, I will just obliterate you right now."

"I just want to talk kid."

"Oh sure, you just want to talk. Ooooh how many times have I heard that? Maybe I'll let my guard down and let you kidnap me? Maybe, just maybe, I might have to fight my way out of a human trafficking ring. Hell, maybe those two brats weren't yours and you have already kidnapped them..."

I frown, my eyes narrowing.

"That's not-"

I snap my fingers while doing a small flicking motion, a bead of electricity barely a centimeter across rockets from my fingertips, his eyes widen as he steps to the side to dodge it, but it hovers in the air where his torso was moments before, then it explodes, shuddering the earth, washing over Qrow completely.

He is launched from the absolutely massive ball of lightning with a shout, arcs of static electricity coil around him as he skips across the ground.

He rolls to his feet, clutching his side, his eyes widening considerably at the destruction I have just wrought.

Where he was standing moments ago... is a crater... forty feet across and nearly a foot deep, all of that earth seems to have vanished, almost as if it were vaporized, several trees have been rendered into spikes of wood and splinters, a few nearby stones are scorched and burned.

Arcs of electricity flicker across the crater as the static jumps here and there.

"I'm not like that, kid, honest!" The man shouts as he leaps into the air.

Three purplish rays of electricity strike the ground where he was standing moments before.

I hold out a hand towards him, palm facing outwards.

*CRACK*

A bolt of lightning arcs from my hand and clears the distance between us, he barely tilts his body backwards to avoid it.

Another orb of lightning is flicked at him, the orb engulfs him, creating a massive crackling sphere in the sky.

After a couple moments... it fades...

Qrow is gone...

I blink slowly.

Did I fucking kill him?

A bird flies off into the distance.

'ah. No. I didn't. With those two Mythic element shifted fireballs I probably got pretty close, though.'

I let out a scoff as I turn around and walk back inside, closing and locking the door behind me.

I climb down stairs and shut the hatch, locking it behind me with an application of mage hand.

"Welp. I kicked his ass. Then he turned into a bird and flew away." I hum to the girl watching the screen with wide eyes.

She takes off the rings and tosses them to me, allowing me to slip them both back on my fingers.

I sit down on the bed and flop backwards, closing my eyes. "Well, I'm tired. I think I'm gonna take a little rest."

I smile as I feel Neo flop down beside me.

She's a little like a little lost puppy, I mean, she's also as cute as one.

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

I feel Neo shake the bed, I refuse to open my eyes, I'm still far too tired to wake up just yet, if I had to guess I have only napped for like an hour. I need two or three at the bare minimum.

I feel her poking my cheek with a finger, but I remain resolute to not show any reaction.

I feel her breath on my face, she is seemingly starting at me extremely close.

She doesn't do anything for a second.

Her lips press against my own.

My eyes snap open, causing her to flinch back as she falls off the mattress we use as a bed.

She scoots backwards across the floor, eyes wide, her face has a deep blush as she cups her face in her hands, she rolls around as she curls up into a ball.

I glance to the side and scratch my cheek.

Well... uh... that certainly was... something.

Sort of expected her to dance around the topic for like... a year or two... not jump right into sleep molestation.

I hear quiet sniffling as Neo begins shaking.

'is- is she crying?!'

She quietly sobs to herself as she shudders.

Relationships:

Neo Politan: She is currently having a mental breakdown because she's afraid that she might have just ruined your opinion of her and any chance she might have ever had to be with you over a passing impulsive decision.

I might be planning on being sort of 'evil', but I'm not a fucking asshole!

I stand up and walk towards the girl and crouch down, she freezes in place, not moving a muscle.

"Look at me, Neo."

A single eye peeks out from her hands, brimmed with tears and red from her sobbing.

I point at her. "You are attractive. I do not care if you kissed me."

Her eyes widen as she flinches.

"So, stop moping about." I frown down at the girl. "You are making me feel like a massive dick."

I pick her up and stand her up, she is covering her face, sniffling but no longer crying.

"Look, if you are still so torn up about it, I'll punish you."

She looks up to me slowly and blinks more tears out of her eyes... she eventually nods her head once.

'hn.'

A crystal dice appears in my hand. "Well, I'm going to roll on this dice to see how severe of a punishment you get."

She looks to it but relents and nods once, wiping her eyes and staring forwards resolutely- if not a bit red-eyed.

I walk over to the table and roll the dice.

"73"

"Hm." I hum blankly at the dice trying to think up something that'll be enough punishment for a seventy three.

I look over to Neo. "When we are alone like this, just the two of us, until I give you permission again, you are no longer allowed to wear pants. Underwear is fine, just no pants."

She flinches back, a crimson blush on her face.

"What?" I ask. "You did a lewd act; thus, you got a lewd punishment."

She bites her lip nervously and slowly removes the simple sweat pants I had given her.

I quickly observe her long and smooth legs.

"Nice." I smirk.

She blushes profusely and looks away from me.

"Man, you're just lucky I didn't roll a one hundred~" I grin.

She freezes and looks down at the dice, then back up at me, as if wondering what I would have made her do.

I smirk at her and sit down at the table. "Hey, we both know what the punishment would be if I rolled a one hundred."

She bites her lip again and looks away.

"But I mean, really, can you blame me? I am a hormonal teen, and you are stunningly beautiful." I continue.

Steam is practically shooting out of Neo's ears from how badly she is blushing.

I look around slowly. "Hn... there isn't much to do here, is there?"

Neo looks like she wants to say something, but stops herself and stares at the wall for about ten seconds.

I stand up and grab a cup from a nearby table, quickly filling it with water.

I summon forth a small dose of an alchemical item, it is brownish yellow, with the consistency of ground mustard seed, I dump it in the water, briefly stirring it and bringing the glass to my lips and chugging the entire thing.

Neo blinks slowly at me then gestures to the cup.

"What was that?" I ask for her.

She nods once.

"Don't worry about it." I hum as I clean out the glass with prestidigitation and sit it back on the counter. "It's a surprise tool that will help me later."

"Well, since we are so bored, we have two options here, firstly we can get back to your training, because as soon as you are a complete badass like myself we can move into the city and take the underworld by storm... or our other option to pass the time is something I like to call the escalation game."

She tilts her head and holds up two fingers.

"What's the 'Escalation Game' you ask?" I question for her.

She nods once.

"Well, it's quite simple. I've just made it up right now." I hum as I lift the crystal dice. "We go about our daily life, training, eating, drinking, and sleeping, but with one critical change. Whenever a lewd act occurs, we roll a dice to see what effects take place.

She blinks slowly. "So, let's say for instance, I groped your breast right here and now, you would roll the dice much like I did for your punishment, and decide some sort of act that is reasonable for the number... nothing at all for low numbers, and perhaps... whatever fantasies you have in that twisted head for the higher numbers. Or you could just be extremely boring and tell me not to do it again."

Her eyes grow wide as a blush crosses her face, she looks down at the dice and nods twice.

"To make it interesting, care to let us roll once for each of us?"

She tilts her head but eventually nods again.

She takes the dice and rolls once

"43"

She stares at it for a long moment before looking over to me, then gestures to her lips.

"A kiss?" I ask.

She nods once.

"Well, I mean, sure, why not. You've already been there before. At least this time it'll be completely consensual, eh?"

She looks a little guilty at my little jab, but it doesn't last as I step forwards and press my lips against her own.

A moment passes, and we eventually pull apart, she is fairly flustered, a red tinge across her face as she watches me pick up the dice.

I calmly roll it.

"84"

Neo shivers in anticipation, expectantly looking at me with a small gleam in her eyes.

I smirk, knowing fully well what I plan to ask for.

I point at her, my next statement catching her completely off guard as she had already started to remove her shirt.

"Become my girlfriend."

*Linebreak Linebreak Linebreak*

Welp. We lasted a grand total of about an hour before be devolved into legitimate lewd acts to pass the time. And during said time... I've made her mine.

I've claimed her.

Luckily, I drank that Cassil herb before we decided to do the deed, otherwise I'd be worrying about my future child inside of her.

Why pull out when you have magical herbs that render you infertile for a few days.

Also, she wouldn't... er... let me.

We should probably talk about that.

She is quietly petting the top of my head as she stares up at the ceiling.

'What sort of horrors must be going throughout her head right now.'

Relationships:

Neo Politan:
Oh gods! Oh fuck! She can't believe she did that! I-it was everything she wanted but... sh-she's not ready for a child! Why did she do that?! Uuuuuugh! Nooooo! Gwyn probably isn't ready for that either! With one little action as a result of her prior action she has ruined his dreams! Now you'll both have to live a simple life! Away from crime! Away from murder! But... living a calm life? Maybe that doesn't sound so bad...

She freezes as I press my forehead into the side of her own.

"Don't worry about it, Neo." I whisper. "The powder I drank like an hour before we started made me infertile for a couple of days."

Her shoulders sag, she lets out a long breath of relief.

"But I'm going to be honest." I continue. "Sort of uncool."

She looks guiltily towards the wall as I turn and open up the vision screen.

A woman in a white cloak calmly walks down the road.

"…"

Neo leans over, her naked body pressing against my own.

She looks over as I glance to her, then we both look back to the cloaked figure.

I ask the question on both of our minds. "Who the fuck is that?"

The cloak is ruffled slightly by the wind, allowing me to see a feminine figure with a short black skirt.

Two silver eyes gleam in the hood.

"Silver... eyes." I whisper.

Neo's eyes widen as she looks over to me then back to the woman.

I glance over to Neo. "You think that's my mom?"

She tilts her head but eventually shakes her head as I hand her the rings.

"Oh good, cause if it was, I was about to have some words with her."

I slowly stand up, slipping out from under the blankets and making my way to the dresser.

I feel Neo's eyes trail me, she seems to be soaking up everything she can about my naked body.

A wave of cleanliness washes over me as I cast Prestidigitation

I grab and put on a simple hoodie and some sweatpants, then grab the masterwork sickle sitting beside the ladder. "I'm going to go see what she wants."

I quietly open the locks on the door

I fling the door open. "You have TEN seconds to fuck off before I STRANGLE you with that stupid cape!"

The woman inches from knocking on the door flinches, she staggers backwards, losing her balance, tripping over a rock and falling flat on her ass.

She slowly looks up to me with wide eyes as she lets out a quiet gasp. "Where did you learn such language, young man?!"

"One. Two. Three. Four."

"WAIT WAIT!" She waves her hands in front of herself as she slowly gets up. "There's no need for violence... please just calm down."

I raise an eyebrow at her, pausing briefly.

"Five. Six. Seven-"

"A-Alright! I'll leave you alone! It's just..." She lets out a long sigh. "We few with silvered eyes are always in incredible danger... you aren't safe out here... there are those who would want to kill us for our mere eye color."

"Oh, I am VERY aware of that fact. I don't need your hoity toity 'oh, please come with me, I can protect you' bullshit. I am THE strongest thing in this entire forest. INCLUDING YOU! The main reason that I HAVEN'T KILLED YOU WHERE YOU STAND FOR NOT LEAVING is because of your eyes. Yes I am incredibly unstable and I will CONTINUE TO BE SO if random crazy bitches like yourself keep randomly walking up on my DOORWAY in the middle of fucking nowhere when I just want to be LEFT ALONE! W-why can't people just leave me alone?! I-I don't want to hurt people! Just leave me be!"

I bite my tongue and let out a couple of sniffles as tears brim my eyes.

"G-Go away!"

"Oh..." She whispers as she crouches down to my level. "You have faced your share of hardships, haven't you?"

She reaches out slowly.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" I shout as I swing my sickle at her.

Her eyes widen as she hops back, narrowly avoiding the slash.

I slam the door and lock its numerous locks behind me.

I smirk as I slowly walk away from the door, wiping my eyes.

I crawl back towards the trap door, thankful that I had simply replaced all the windows in this room with boards.

I open the trap door and slide down the ladder.

Neo is lounging on the bed in nothing more than a Bra and panties, kicking her feet lazily as she watches the screen.

"Is she gone?" I ask as I flop down beside her.

She shakes her head.

I lean over, looking at the reddish black haired woman as she falters at the door.

At first, I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me, but seeing her in person, nope. That's Summer Rose... she should be nothing more than a corpse by this point.

I think.

I'm fairly certain Ruby and Yang's little adventure came after her death in the timeline.

She reaches up as if she was going to knock on it, but stops, lets out a quiet sigh, then seems to say something.

She then turns and walks away.

I stretch and let out a sigh as my shoulders pop.

"So, how was my acting?"

She smirks and gives me a thumbs up.

"Thanks." I smirk. "Looking like a child does have its benefits. People underestimate the hell out of you."

I continue watching the screen just long enough to make sure she is gone.

I look to Neo. "We should probably get out of here if we want to avoid any more harassment."

She tilts her head as she looks back to me.

"If she doesn't come back, it'll be bird guy watching us from the shadows. Bla bla silver eyes are extremely powerful, and all that garbage. Ugh. Whoever their boss is will probably try to get me to fight some sort of gigantic grimm monster and give my life for 'the greater good'."

"Honestly, if I was a man ruling from the shadows like that guy seems to be, instead of putting the silver eyed warriors on DANGEROUS mission like he is currently, I'd just leave them be. Protect them, mind you, but let them do their own thing... unless it was a dude. At which point I would coerce him into banging as many girls as possible."

I cup my chin. "Wait... that's... honestly not such a bad idea..."

Neo swats my arm and glares pointedly at me.

"No, No, hear me out here... if I shove off my 'fight the endless grimm apocalypse' thing to my children- not OUR future children, mind you, as id actually care about those- but if I do that whole Cum and Go, Ejaculate and Evacuate thing... there would be possibly hundreds of new silver eyed people capable of fighting the grimm menace. After a generation or two, hundreds turn into thousands, I wouldn't be forced to die against some giant bullshit grimm and humanity is saved!"

Neo gives me a half-lidded expression.

I roll my eyes and dramatically throw my hands out. "Just think. 'Local teen defeats the grimm through sex'."

I hear her snort as she buries her face into my shirt.

"Honestly I don't get why someone hasn't ALREADY done that... ugh." I scoff as I wrap an arm around her shoulders.

I plant a quick kiss on her cheek, causing her to blush wildly and squirm slightly with a bright smile.

"Anyways, what's your opinion on moving back to Vale? I mean, on one hand, we have a safe spot here, we could live in peaceful bliss. But on the other... the gang plans.

I tilt my head. "Hell, do I even want a gang?"

I feet her forehead press against the side of my head as she snuggles up against me.

"I mean, I know I said I wanted it, but that was more of a general idea... running a gang is probably a lot of work... I mainly wanted the gang so I could have control over the underworld and dictate what goes on there. I mainly wanted to erase human-and faunus- trafficking."

Neo nods slowly in agreement.

"But ugh... controlling everything would just be so damn annoying! Honestly, maybe I'll find someone to pawn that off to... maybe just run a small store selling stuff I pull from my ability!"

Neo tilts her head and shrugs, then brings me closer to her, stating that she doesn't care what she does as long as it is with me.

We stay, held within eachother's grasp for a moment.

"So... wanna go take a shower?"
