This episode hurt my heart for a lot of reasons. So many I decided to put them on my Tumblr blog. Hopefully, next week will ease my discomfort. I too find The Armorer very sus now.

So what do I think about S3? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I bet folks who got into early screenings at celebrations were lol-ing their asses off hahaha! 😆 Adam, now more than ever there's every reason to cosplay as Paz Viszla.. I was at celebrations and saw someone did a Paz Viszla cosplay and its fucking rad!!

Honor. Loyalty. Character.

I would love if Grogu learns to use the force to control the IG-12 and that's how he wields a lightsaber.

Hector, when you talked about those fans that read the Heir to the Empire etc, in the 90's, that was me. I read it and then waited for Dark Force Rising and then reread Heir just before to be ready. Then I read those two again just before The Last Command came out. Then I read the whole trilogy again before the The Jedi Academy Trilogy came out, and so on. I've read them all at least 10 times. Thrawn is one of my all time favorite villains. When we saw Captain Pellaeon in this episode I about lost it. He is Thrawn's right hand man and Captain of Thrawn's flagship, the Imperial Star Destroyer Chimera from those old books. If they bring back the Chimera I will lose it again. Filoni is totally in my head.

The Imperials on Mandalore reveal feels like it ties all the way back to the first season, because even without directly addressing it, it explains how the Client was able to get ahold of some beskar. Turns out, the Imperials had had plenty to spare.

Oh my gosh, this was amazing. Paz Viszla, what a stand and what a character arc. I really wish he had managed to take down one of the guard. But man that was epic. Also the overheating rail-gun, man. All of the emotions.

Oh now I realize why they all gave the resources to Moth Gideon as soon as he said the Mandolarians were going to retake Mandalore, cause the Shadow Council all knew he was there.

It feels like there are multiple narratives being planted for the Imperials. On one hand, you have Gideon, who seems like he is full out planning on being the leader of the new empire. The way he is lying about things in the Shadow Council seems to show that--he is out for ultimate power. Most of the Council is with him, except Hux and Pellaeon, who seem to have their own agendas, which may be tied together with the cloning program and the return of the real Heir to the Empire-Thrawn. However, it also seems like at this point, Pellaeon might not know Thrawn is still alive but holding out hope he is, given how Rebels ended. I think they are building up Gideon as this big bad ass only to have him quickly taken out by Thrawn to immediately show the audience that might not be familiar with him how scary he really is.
