I'm waiting to see more. I'm not really liking it so far. The adventurous feel of the movie is lacking to me. Idk. Its kinda cheesy and not in a good way.

I really enjoyed this first episode. "Charming" and "Fusion" are the right words for this - I agree that it is a nice, light-hearted mix of fantasy tropes and themes. I really like the production values (the sets, costumes, music, etc.). This is definitely working for me. I want to see how all these characters and the plot develops. I'm definitely excited for more.

Great first episode!. Very similar vibes to the movie but it actually feels more polished and not just because it has much better visual effects. I recently rewatched the film and parts of it come off as dated. I think the new soundtrack and music cues fit the action better.
