👀👀 Hector made me nervous for sec at the end there 🤣

It's snowing here in Vancouver. Time for 'The Boys' with the boys.

Hector's hatred for Homelander is brilliant. I love the passion

So Meredith Glynn wrote this episode. In a fun connection she worked on Supernatural in the later seasons as a writer, which of course Supernatural was created by Kripke. There are some Supernatural callbacks in The Boys both in this season and the previous ones. The boots Soldier Boy wears are the same boots Jensen wore as Dean Winchester, only a different color. In The Boys, Robert Singer is a politician played by Jim Beaver. Robert Singer in real life was a producer and director for Supernatural, so the character Robert Singer, more commonly known as Bobby Singer, was introduced, played by Jim Beaver. Any time there is a shot from the trunk of a car, it's a callback to the end of the pilot episode of Supernatural, bonus points if the words we got work to do are uttered. In the comic video of Stormfront being run over by a car, the car was a 67 Chevy Impala, the car the brothers had in Supernatural. Season 3 doesn't let up one bit...its absolutely full throttle so I am stoked to watch the second half of the series with you guys!

I don't know what this show will do for the ending but I feel that it'll be a hopeful ending. Our world is on the precipice of falling into a deep cavern. The show Andor shows what a real rebellion looks like from a sci fi(but also real world) aspect, and The Boys shows many similar SCARY things to what's currently going on in the real world. There are so many escape the real world escape reality shows/fiction/games etc. we have in this world to numb the pain but not enough shows like this that amplifies the reality we live in. It's written/acted so well it's insane

I'm here for Hector's post-show energy

Waleed

hughie high off the power he has, while kimiko is bleeding out is one of my fav character developments. normally he'd be freaking out or trying his hardest to help, and instead he's just ogling his newfound abilities

Antony Starr does a fantastic job at being the biggest guy in the room while not physically being the biggest guy in the room. I mean he's even shorter than Hughie. I also love that leverage is the biggest superpower on this show.

JD Kalantar

this might be my fave episode reaction yet! Loved Hector's rant at the end haha too good

Amilcar Collazo

Homelander killing everyone and then realizing that there is no one else left that loves, fears or hates him would be a cool ending. Scorched Earth...

Corey Strable

I'm cackling at the Hector rant at the end.

Roman Penna

I mean Hector does have some good points....
