What's up, homies. Thanks for your patience as we roll out our uncut reaction to the PENULTIMATE episode of Arcane. It's been quite the exciting adventure with this show, and it looks like we're, ironically, just getting started. Enjoy!

Ekko & Heimerdinger are currently my favourites, the rest all have interesting character arcs and will see how they'll blossom as the story unfolds. That being said, I do have a wildcard favourite, but Imma keep that card safe first.😎

I am with you on that while Jayce still has a good story, his character arc is the least interesting to me. I only cared about his storyline becaue I love Viktor and Mel. For me, Silco and Jinx are two favourites, their whole toxic, traumatic father-daughter relationship resonated so much with me. But I also love the flirting of Vi and Cait, how they're both very strong women but depicted completely differently from each other. And agreed, the little we see of Ekko is enough to make him one of the greatest characters. Can't wait to see your reaction to the finale.

The fight at the end of this episode is what made me go from telling people I liked it, to telling people you HAVE to watch this show. So good. Can't wait for the last one for you guys.

It's actually crazy how they manage to flesh out so many characters equally and follow along basically 4 different storylines and tie them in together to where they all feel just as important

I just love the Victor running scene, When he was a child he (almost) lost his toy boat because he wasn't fast enough and in this episodes he literally outruns a boat (in the backround). The way Fortiche (the animation studio) hit the perfect balance between those subtle details, over the top stylized action sequences and quite, very emotional character driven scenes is just mind-blowing.

I haaated heimerdinger this whole show and reluctantly accepted the ‘noble minded elite is shown how the real people live and is willing to learn from them’ trope his character went through. How do you run a city for 2 centuries and never bother to improve the lives of the lower class? Or even be thoroughly cognizant of the conditions of the undercity? In my mind there was no excuse for him to be so ignorant of the reality of piltover even if he couldn’t do anything bc of the other councilors. Anyway my favorite character was Vi with her anger issues.

After episode 7 I was wondering if there was a romantic thing going on between Ekko and Jinx. Don't know much about it in the game but maybe... These two are my favorite characters, but I'm afraid there isn't much room for redemption for Jinx. BTW I don't think she is fully formed yet, the character from video character concepts seems a little more jumpy and happy and a little less dark.

I love how each character has a very particular way of moving, be it running, walking, sitting down... It really adds to their personalities. Compare the animation style for Medarda, Vi and Jinx for example... Completely different.

Roman Penna

I agree the depth of each character is amazing, and the care taken is amazing, and they jump so easily between soft moments with like Vi and Caitlyn to such an intense scene with Jinx.

BurnzXD

I've got to say Jinx is my favorite right now. Her character, facial expressions, and Voice acting is so enthralling. Seeing her reveal remnants of Powder and then to full throttle morph into Jinx brings me so much emotion. I am intrigued by Who/What Victor will become.

Also, a GoT patreon only would be cool. I understand the time investment/poor review is huge but I know I would be game for it. I wouldn't want anyone to watch something they don't enjoy, but the new stuff is on the way! The Spicy Meatball is always worth the indigestion!

Matthew Garcia

I wish they would do it too, especially since I haven't watched any of it and it would be a great way for me to get into it. But yeah, would be huge investment of time for them lol.

Here's the thing. Most of GoT is great. And even the last season is just fine, though it was not paced well and needed more episodes, IMO. I hope they do it cause I believe the show overall is still a very, very good show. Ambitious and beautiful.
