Who is worthy of surviving the Trial of Dragons? (Patreon)

Traveler! The people from Rocky Hills Village cannot stop talking about a mausoleum in the mountains that has just been found. Two explorers came back to town a fortnight ago with news of the place's location. The scared hikers claim they heard growls and grunts coming from the underground complex. A couple of mercenary groups grabbed their gear and went to investigate but never came back... Many dream of the treasure but few have the guts to go.

A snakefolk woman named Hiz'ta Shilsesa knows the truth about this place. She claims to be a long descendant of the mausoleum's creators and asks the characters to retrieve an important artifact from that place for her, the Dragon Tear. This adventure includes a hard choice for the characters. It is clear that Hiz'ta has foul intentions with the item. But she shall move heaven and earth if the characters dare to keep it for their benefit.

This is a level 8 adventure with a bit of exploration, roleplay opportunities, and the exploration of a recently unearthed mausoleum! Here's a low-def preview of this illustration:

Here's a close-up of the Trial of Dragons chamber. The characters shall survive a dangerous fight with the dragon guardians and the undead abominations that reside in the hall.
