551 Mausoleum of Regrets (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! Enraged undead abominations make incursions from an ancient family mausoleum. They attack the peasantry and show no mercy. The city watch has sent a few volunteer men to investigate but none of them came back from the cursed burial place. They are in need of valorous heroes willing to put their lives on the line to save the innocent.

The ancient mausoleum belonged to the Varadder family. They were opulent and rich generations ago but their renown and fame have dwindled over the decades and they are now only affluent business owners. Their ancestors in the mausoleum burn with regret and the inability to cope with their failures as a family. This is the driving force that led their undead forms to coalesce and emerge to exact revenge.

This is a level 2 adventure with a bit of exploration, tomb-robbing, and the exploration of a recently unearthed family mausoleum!
