535 The Scarlet Sepulcher (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! The undead attack Stalwart City and the brave soldiers of the city watch have proved themselves and defeated a necromancer and his undead goons. Unfortunately for them, they all returned a fortnight later and attacked again. These attacks happen again after 10 or so days and nothing seems to stop de befoul necromancer.

The characters are informed that the necromancer uses ancient magic similar to the ones liches use. There must be a phylactery-like relic near the city that helps the necromancer elude certain death. The characters must visit a strange location under the city, connected to the city sewers, where the necromancer's life force shall flee to after another defeat on the surface. If the characters can evade the mage's traps and powerful guardians, they may put a stop to the necromancer once and for all!

This is a level 6 adventure with a bit of exploration, combat, and nasty traps!
