I've got a bit of a sad and disappointing update for you all today. With my grandmother having injured herself a few months back, things have just been all over the place. I've said this in the past and made adjustments. Unfortunately, its also prompted my mother's depression to spike and leave her unable to do anything she usually does (like take my grandmother and step-grandfather to their appointments that last half a day sometimes). I've been making the time to help out as much as I can, but this has left me in a precarious spot. In August, I have my $600 car insurance payment coming up and with the way things are going, I'll be completely unable to pay for it as well as unable to pay my rent in the coming months.

So, I'm having to open commissions and push my Patrons back even more. I'm very sorry for this. I really am. All of you have been so patient that its hard for me to feel okay making you wait even longer. But, I don't have too much of a choice at this point since hunting a job during covid means closing down shop and that'd be even worse.

Before I say what my solution is, I want to tell you all to adjust (or even cancel) your pledges if you feel the need to. June will not be giving rewards just so I can do as much work as possible, but I'll still be working on your commissions as I can. And when July starts, I'll be taking away the $30 and $50 tier (and then bringing them back with fewer slots just to give everyone an equal chance of getting those limited slots).

Okay, now for the solution. I'm opening commissions again at an increased price compared to what they were before. I'll be marking names and giving my current (as of May 13th) patrons their tier's discounts... Frankly until the end of the year because I feel that apologetic and thankful to all of you.

Unfortunately, with taking commissions again comes the fault of pushing Patreon-focused work back and mixing it into my schedule. I understand why this will upset quite a few of you and want to make up for it as I can. I don't know how this will work out or when I'd be able to get you all what I owe, but I'm not about to just give up and leave you with nothing.

And... Honestly, I don't have a good way to end this update without just saying I'm sorry and thank you. While it sucks for everyone, I hope you all can understand why I'm needing to do this and are still willing to support me.

Take your time man, there's more important stuff than the stories, especially right now.

Count on me as much as possible, still being part of your patreons. I share the idea that your physical or mental health comes first. I hope everything improves. Although my story has not started, it can wait.
