I discuss it in this video, but I did lose the reaction for episode 16 due to a technical issue. So, the video starts with my thoughts on episode 16 and then I go into the reaction for episode 17. The reaction to episode 17 starts right at the 8-minute mark if you want to skip my thoughts on episode 16.

Regarding episode 16 there are actually going to be a lot musical guest stars throughout the run of One Tree Hill (some musical guests' appearances feel real natural and other musical guests' appearances are a bit "thrown in your face"). Music plays an underlining role throughout the run of the series (I feel like you already see it a little bit now with with it established a few episodes ago that Haley is a singer and we've seen Peyton loves music in addition to her drawing). Also every episode of One Tree Hill is named after a song.

I feel like Haley storyline is fast approaching you just wait idk how you’ll feel about it but can’t wait to see your reaction lol. Lucas can come across a bit selfish at times especially when he doesn’t get his way. Him guilt tripping Haley and acting jealous is unnecessary. I get that they have been best friends their whole lives and have relied on each other for literally everything however they are branching out and that shouldnt be a problem or he shouldn’t feel like Haley is forgetting him. She has a boyfriend which requires more of her attention just like Lucas did with brooke. With Lucas and Peyton not going straight into a relationship was odd to me as well at the time just like you said they did all of that just to not be together right away however now looking back I can prolly see why the writers decided that and hopefully you’ll catch on it later if not I’ll give my opinion on it down the road. Also I’m thinking teen drama and the obvious suspense of it all and how they just love to drag a storyline lol. After all how many seasons again? It’s a long road ahead of you! Thanks for being honest about the glitch you experience and just jumping right into the next episode rather than rewatching and not giving real reaction!💕 (Also not to be that person but any updates on the pilots reaction? I know you mention the end of April :)

Yeah, random guest stars were such a big thing back when this show came out. It's so weird. lol I was just talking to my husband the other day about how this show is slightly easier to edit than some others because of the way the show uses music. I have to mute as much of the music as I can for copyright reasons and this show uses A LOT of music and in a way not too many other shows do. There are long stretches where it's just music and no dialogue because of how the show uses the music as part of the storytelling. Those long stretches mean one long edit rather than a bunch of smaller ones. You probably don't care about any of this, but the music is something I've noticed. lol

I'm excited to know a Haley-centric storyline is coming up! :) I think my main issue with the Lucas/Haley thing is that he didn't really care that Haley wasn't around when he had Brooke and Peyton. But the second he was "alone", he expected her to be there whenever he wanted. Their relationship is at his convenience and that's really crappy. I'm so glad Haley stood up for herself. Thanks for being understanding about the glitch!!! 🧡🧡🧡 The pilots are coming. I'm recording All American this week and I'm going to swap the order so it gets published before The 100 since you've already had to wait so long and you've been so patient. 😔
