yeah this was definitely a weird choice for an official "series premiere" but its definitely my guilty pleasure episode. I think its more fun on the rewatch for sure. Since a lot of the tension falls flat and the plot is so clumsy, the only reason to watch is for the comedy and the chemistry. Once david is more familiar to the audience, going back and seeing him play cassandra is objectively hilarious Lollll I will say, while I also don't think her redemption was believable or necessary, there is something so so moving about the scene where cassandra tells her younger self that she looks beautiful and then dies in her own arms. Its one of my favorite "death scenes," perhaps one that could've been saved for a character more deserving of that attempt at redemption?

My comment to Clara actually applies here as well. lol I can definitely get how the scene at the end was supposed to be really impactful, but it just fell really flat for me. It's definitely going to be a talking point about in the mid-series thoughts video. lol That is a fair point about going back and watching him play that role after you get to know him better.
