I'm gonna disagree with some of the other comments here! The implications of the Doctor and Rose's relationship being romantic are allllll over s1, no matter how relationships between the doctor and companions have been treated in the past. I get that the age gap bothers people and I don't blame them! But Chris and Billie's chemistry definitely does NOT read as father/daughter to me, like the convo they had while "dancing" in "The Doctor Dances" was steeped in flirty tension. Personally, I read it as, despite the Doctor feeling that he shouldn't be attracted to Rose, he still was. Yeah, the kiss wasn't really a real kiss but, even then, I found the act of self-sacrifice on both sides at the end of that episode very romantic <3

Haley knows how difficult the subject of basketball is with Nathan. That's why she went to Peyton for advice. She treds lightly because she doesn't know what to say. I don't think she thinks it's her place. She knows he loves the game, but she also knows what the game is doing to him and now she knows what it did to his father. Nathan is not in a place yet to just play basketball for himself. When Haley was talking about the pressure it was pressure from Dan. Like what can he pressure Nathan with when his tactics were based on lies. He doesn't need to listen to him anymore. Ofc Nathan being Nathan is now trying to one up him. Hey wtv gets him back in the gym. I love watching him play. Also, Haley knows how hard this is for him. She would support wtv he chose to do regarding his father and basketball and let him figure it out. She's just offering her opinion.  You think she won't support him because he's not handling basketball and Dan like she thinks he should? 🤔 Idk what up until this point has made you think that's who Haley is and what she would do 🤷🏽‍♀️.  Last epi Nathan was rude to her on the phone and cut her off.  Obv Dan was in his head and that influenced his actions.  She could have made a bigger deal about it, but instead she let it slide and cut off his apology because she understood.  He is actively trying to change his behavior and she knows knows it won't always be perfect. We have seen she gives him a lot of room to figure out his Dan/basketball issues. My favorite thing about this epi was the Scott family content. Learned some new stuff. Also, another episode in which Nathan shows how much he's grown already.  Loved the scene with his grandfather at the end.
