Wonderful reaction, as I knew it would be. This is my favorite series one episode(s). Well, the finale is pretty great as well, but this is the episode that I think of most whenever series one is mentioned. And the most special thing about it is how ecstatic Nine is with the outcome. He's seen so much death, first from the Time War then from just about every episode from this series. So you get to witness his utter joy when he yells out "Everybody lives Rose. Just this once, everybody lives!" Still gives me chills. Again, great reaction. Take care.

My favourite thing about watching this reaction was the moment of realisation when “are you my mummy?” went from creepy to heart breaking.

Thank you! That moment was a great one. I love seeing the Doctor smile and experience joy like that. But, it wasn't really lost on me that while he's saying everybody lives Jack was off about to die. lol

And that's part of the beauty of this show, isn't it? That they can take something that haunts my nightmares and then turn it into something that makes me cry. lol I really didn't see the twist of Nancy being his mom and not his sister coming.

The Doctor took an awful lot of joy from the fact that he went somewhere and everybody lived. All the way back in 1x1, Clive did mention the Doctor's "one constant companion", and he seems to have been accurate so far. :( Also, I think the Didn't Cry Counter is still stuck on 2. I know you didn't cry that time you called out, but I reckon the mother-son reunion earned a few tears. It's okay, I went there with you. <3
