saw Pup play with Pink Shift last year in Victoria, hell of a show

meek's cutoff is a paul dano deep-cut, hell yeahhhh~

Jesper Ohlsson

"L.I.E" is his ultimate deep-cut, and it's completely wild that he was in that movie, at the age he was. The whole movie has such a miserable, Bret Easton Ellis-feel to it. Shout-out to Brian Cox, also, for saying yes to one of the least sympathetic roles I've ever seen on film. EDIT: the short-blurb summary of that movie on wikipedia is also wild: "Dano acted in his first major film role when he was sixteen, playing Howie Blitzer, a teenage boy who becomes involved with a middle-aged ephebophile (Brian Cox) in L.I.E. (2001)." ..feels weird to see the "uhm, it's ephebophilia, actually", when that's absolutely not the sense you get from that movie (it's heavily implied that the Brian Cox character's live-in-early-20's-twink is a child he once groomed, and who has now aged out of his preferences, and Dano's character is his replacement. It's a miserable movie.).
