Aquarius - Concept Phase (Patreon)

Cambiel is an Angel I felt really strongly about getting right. The traits associated with Aquarius are ones I feel a strong bond to, so, I wanted to make sure I was doing the concept justice. Typically, the Aquarius is holding a water vessel of some sort but I thought that metaphor needed to get brought a little closer to home. The outpouring that this figure does is not from a jar, but from its heart. 

When I think about drawing a picture, I also consider the word's other meaning. Making art often feels like I'm drawing a part of me outwards, like pulling water from a well. For this piece to be successful, I wanted to embody that sensation.
