Sagittarius - Concept Phase (Patreon)

Ho boy. After all that madness with pledge caps and missing payments, it's nice to post some art.

I was hesitant about whether or not I wanted to make this angel resemble a centaur. What swayed me was looking into the history of centaurs. Reading into the subtext of them a little, what I realized they represented was that part of us that departs of society and returns to nature. This was such a perfect theme for Sagittarius, that I am building that theme throughout the painting. This one will be "The Wanderer".

To wander the world and marvel at the beauty of nature is such an essential experience, that I'm really excited to be making a painting about it.

I've been getting some great technical feedback on my animal anatomy from the friendly folks on Discord, so shout out to SpartaDog and Elaine for the tips ;)
