Joshimental Season 2.

Apologies for the wait. Found a few errors in the episode/season and I didn't want to upload the work before it was up to par.

The file sizes for this episode/season are extremely large. I'm not sure if MEGA will allow you all to watch the episode/season without demanding that you all pay for more bandwidth. I will be encoding and uploading a separate part 2 file of Joshimental S2, that will pick up after part 1; You all should be able to download/view it without having to pay for a MEGA subscription. I will be doing this sometime during the day.

This should work until I upload the episode/season onto Reddit and it becomes streamable through GakiArchives or ChikiChikiTube.

Not much of a surprise, but I have already started work on Ikemental. The first half should be ready by May 7th/8th.

Before working on Joshimental/Ikemental, I completed some work on Documental S9. I will be back working on S9 right after I finish Ikemental.

Just want to say that I really appreciate all of your support. Without it, subbing these episodes/seasons would not be as motivating.

Thank you, truly.

P.S. Let me know if there are any errors in the episode.

-------

EDIT: Sorry everyone. Someone messaged me saying that they found a handful of translation errors in the episode. I’m going to fix the errors and then reupload.

By the way, if someone has a cleaner/glitchless version of this episode, can you please link it in the chat or DM me. The guy who I paid to rip the raw episodes for me said that he gets those frame losses consistently throughout the episode. I’ll see if I can find someone else who can get me the raw file though.

EDIT 2: The fixed episode & subtitle file are now uploaded. Some parts of the episode were not making sense in English, and it was causing some jokes to not connect. I have fixed the translations and the new upload is ready for viewing.

One of the jokes that was mistranslated caused it to fly over my head, but after fixing it, the joke makes sense and I'm really glad that it does, because it's a gem.

Thank you to the person who private messaged me telling me what the issue was. They prefer to stay anonymous, so I will not post their name.

I obtained the Joshimental and Ikemental raws from some freelancer online. With how there are a few frame-drops in parts of the episodes, they shouldn't be unwatchable. I will still be actively hunting for better/cleaner versions of these two raws episodes though.

• EN: 32 (55:17) - Kojima Kazuya, a Japanese comedian. He took part in Documental Season 2.

Kojima is part of a duo called Unjash alongside a man named Watabe Ken. In June 2020, Watabe was found to have been having numerous affairs. Instead of meeting the women in love hotels or anywhere "normal", he would set up "meetings" in multi-functional toilets. He met with women in these multi-functional toilets all over Roppongi Hills. The joke that Kanda-san is making is that Kojima is "not the one in Roppongi" having affairs with various women in multi-functional toilets, but Watabe is.
