History of Westeros

Great questions everyone, I'll be incorporating them into the show notes right up until it's time to set up for the recording. Again, most will be answered towards the end. If it's more of a prediction type question, we'll answer it Saturday instead!

Sir Galla-who of What

Mallory's post is interesting - she's right that the odds of another dragon rider are decreasing. The only other rider "leads" have been weak in the show: Tyrion unchaining the two in Mereen and Jon getting "a fly-by" by Drogon. I'd argue that Bran and his powerful warging might be the best/only other candidate..."you won't walk but you will fly" - Bloodraven. The show hasn't had time to explain the power and history of Valyrian lineage as being the (basically) only means to riding. Plus the North needs the help, and the risk of the dragon getting killed and becoming an ice dragon would be neat. Truly and ice and fire double-entendre.
