Sir Galla-who of What

Sam's arc: Aziz believes obsidian is involved in Valyrian steel forging...I think that's very possible. Also, it's likely dragons are an integral part of the forging...which is now potentially possible to utilize again for the first time in 150 years. Sam is going to rewrite those ancient books/scrolls. They will not have anything about Jon's lineage, so perhaps the Valyrian steel formula or theory of the formula is in there. Jon has obsidian and dragons on Dragonstone...oh and is forging weapons. Sam has is dad's sword, so could use that as a quality assurance benchmark. Otherwise what's the point of Sam taking the sword? Giving it to even the best warrior in the North won't turn the tide of the WW army...thoughts?

Painkiller Jane

So I have a few book to show things to pose to you guys. Since the show made a direct comparison between Euron and Jorah, should we be looking for parallels between them? The direct comparison is that they both brought their queens gifts; Cersei was given the Sand Snakes and Dany was given Tyrion, both in a way were rebuffed, and they were both exiled before hand. My second thing is that the common man being given power and becoming dangerous is also from Dunk and Egg, The Mystery Knight. "Did Ser Quentyn die upon the Redgrass Field?" "Before, ser," Egg replied. "An archer put an arrow through his throat as he dismounted by a stream to have a drink. Just some common man, no one knows who." "Those common men can be dangerous when they get it in their heads to start slaying lords and heroes."
