Vote results (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

The major update vote has just finished. At first glance it was a tie, with Lesbian Content and Homes & Money each getting 26 votes, and UI rework a distant third on 8.

However, after adding the extras for people on the triple-voter tier a clear winner emerged: Lesbian Content will be the next major update.

The next release, coming soon, will be 0.7.0 and will be the last one of the Work & Careers update. After that I'll start work on adding lesbian content in the 0.7.x releases.

However, there's also a potentially serious issue with loading savegames in the latest versions of Java. I'm planning to put out 0.7.0 soon as it's mostly done, and then fixing this save issue will be the top priority for 0.7.1. 

I don't know yet if this will be a quick & easy fix or a long one that takes up most of the release. One option is to fully rework how Newlife saves content. This would have some other benefits as well as fixing the problem, but of course it's likely to prove a significant change. 

As for lesbian content, there are some things I need to think about there - most importantly, what to start with! 

The heart of the lesbian releases will be FF versions of the core club/date->home->makeout->sex content. At the moment I'm thinking of starting with the dating content and building out from there, but I may change my mind as I think it over further. Either way, I hope you all enjoy how it turns out!
