Hi all, here's version 0.5.3. This one implements the gameplay changes around giving female NPCs their own fertility cycles and the ability to get pregnant and give birth, along with key updates to existing scenes.

I'll be building on this over the next few releases with scenes that focus on NPC pregnancy, both for general female NPCs and for some special ones who I feel deserve special treatment.

Major changes & additions: Added support for female NPC pregnancy including updates to the text in scenes where pregnant female NPCs can appear. The week summary will inform you when an NPC is pregnant and again when she gives birth. Minor changes: Added a few more lines to some actions in the cheating-partner sex scene. Added a new conversation outcome when chatting with female NPCs at the club. Using Ivy's help in a job interview will now guarantee success, even for characters with bad traits. New befriending paths for a pregnant party-girl friend that don't rely on her drinking. Updated the OfficeHarass scene with an improved version from Stochastic. House-party guests will now gradually drink over the course of the evening even if you aren't serving them drinks, although they won't drink enough to get hammered without the PC involved. Added some alternative text to one of the nightclub actions with a focus on lines for genderbent characters. The gender-bent jerk friend is now always available to be your bridesmaid if she exists and you're marrying the man she tried to get you to cheat on. Added some new text to the wedding intro to recognise when the PC has chosen the gender-bent jerk friend as her bridesmaid. Added a trait to make the PC more attracted to older men, as requested by Brobort. Reduced some of the unnecessary spacing in the week summary. Changes for user-submitted content: Added the getFigureDesc method requested by Secondarian to the PC context object. Added the inseminateNpc(maleNpc, femaleNpc, int) method to the $scene context object. I know it's a little unintuitive to have it on $scene instead of the FemaleNpc, but it made the most sense during implementation with how the context objects are structured internally. Updated the documentation to include the PORN_ACTOR and COOKING_TEACHER traits in the enum reference, thanks to Stochastic for bringing up this oversight. New methods for female NPC objects: getPregnancyStage(), getStomachDesc(), isLactating(), isLatePreg(). In addition, the isPregnant() method can now return true. Bugfixes: Fixes to text issues. Thanks to OrangeJuice, Saur, MadCat and SgtReznov for reporting some of these. Fixed a bug reported by CagedSissy and NewFace where the text after the pregnancy talk had a bad condition that led to the wrong passage being shown. Fixed an oversight where catching a woman having sex with your husband wasn't removing her virginity if you just leave them to it instead of watching. Fixed an issue in the npc+npc sex scene that could lead to multiple passages of text being shown at once instead of just one. Fixed an issue reported by NewFace where your partner could show up to ask about your pregnancy even if you'd told him about it the week before. Added alternative text to the noisy baby scene's intro for unemployed/housewife PCs to resolve an issue raised by stochastic where it mentions getting up for work the next day. Fixed an obscure bug reported by JulianR.Amazing that might have allowed the porn actor to be befriendable.

Odd question, but would it be possible to increase the number of friends? Or maybe make it so that you can have 2 male friends and 2 female friends? Because I think people are missing out on a lot of content if all their friends are male or female, and IMHO it's much easier to make male friends than female friends in the game.

SEPTEMBER REVISION THREAD Last Updated: 9/3/2019 Typo: "Likes Older Men" during boss interview (Sultry) *** With a slow, languid smile, you reply that you're definitely open to older man. An experience lover, who really knows what he's doing, could certainly make you feel very, very good indeed. *** *experience* ----- experienced.

Sounds cool. Thanks for the update, Splendid.

I've posted this in prior updates, but I just cannot get my cooking level to go up. Typically playing with traits like weak willed, cute, outgoing, and flirty, and a handful of other ones. Its ridiculous that my cooking skill literally stays at 0 despite daily going to cooking class. Even if flirty was getting in the way (which it shouldn't.....), cooking along side an innocent girl is still an increase of 0!

I know it isn't exactly the focus of this update cycle, but is there any chance of modifying the lowlives in the canal event to have them take a lack of resistance by shy characters as consent (as is in the boyfriend jerk friend cheating event) or to convince non-cunning characters to let it happen the way a cunning character can convince their innocent friend target? I feel that it's in the same portion of the consent gray area as existing content.

I get a blank screen two weeks after a pregnant NPC gives birth.

Hi, have you got a save-game where this is happening that I can have a look at? I've run a quick test in dev and I did see the skill increase as expected. No skill-gain from the cooking class should only happen in the following situations: - It's the PC's first time taking a cooking class - The PC chooses a male partner who pisses her off and picks the "Leave" action (long description "Walk out of class and end your part of the lesson early.") - The PC chooses the "Tell him off" action towards a male NPC who's annoying her (long desc: "Put an end to his behavior in the rudest way you can.") - The PC ends up with a female partner, asks to switch, and then chooses to leave class when told it's too late. The action is "Leave"/"Leave class for the week.". The other situation where there'll be no skill-gain is if the PC has anxiety. If the PC has any anxiety when her skills increase the increase is cancelled and she instead loses 1 point of anxiety for each skill-point she'd have gained. Anxiety is gained if your stress is too high. Swapping out all your activities for free-time for a few weeks should drop your stress down to 0 and end anxiety increases.

The Anxiety thing was the one thing I wasn't looking at in my games when trying to increase cooking level. My characters do tend to get stressed a lot, and once I made sure to get anxiety under control, I was actually able to increase the skill! Mystery solved, I think. Thanks for the input!

Suggestion: "Likes Older Men" dialogue references? *** The "Likes Older Men" trait seems to be working as intended, but the dialogue surrounding the trait seems unchanged. Would it be possible to add text variations for "Likes Older Men," specifically in scenarios that already reference her partner's age? The most relevant locations would be during the job interview ("Likes Older Men" sleazy boss question) and during the boss support conversations ("Compliment his looks," "Comfort him"), as both scenes compliment the "older boss/young employee" trope and reflect what the PC thinks of her boss's appearance. Outside of that, a PC public marriage vow option celebrating the age gap (mirroring the NPC's option) would make sense. I'll skim through for other instances.

I have gotten the complete blank screen messing up my game too, but there was also an error message that appeared for me with the "work out with him" with the gym jerk, I will try to get it again to copy and paste it for you. It was sort of a specific set of circumstances I don't remember, but I think it involved the gym jerk being your partner.

Logic: "Answer Professionally" - Sales work experience not reflected in job interview. *** You do your best to answer in a polite, professional and honest manner, although you don't have much relevant experience that you're able to talk about. *** Perhaps there should be a different option here if the PC has Sales work experience?
