Hi all!

A few updates:

I'm in contact with 3 paid writers. Just this weekend I sent the payment for the 2nd one to escrow which means that two are now in progress. The third one's on-hold for now due to issues on their end with setting up the payments, but if that doesn't work out then I'll find a replacement.

I've been trying to keep working on a project I imaginatively call "Game Two" but progress, as always, is painfully slow. Still, slow progress is better than none.

The next release will have more updates for Love and Liking.

I wanted to have more consequences for scumbag NPCs, especially ones the PC likes because of positive traits like charming and interesting. It's reasonable for some players to want to forgive the more fun douchebags, but also reasonable for others to condemn them for their scumminess.

To support this, I've been adding a system called "bastard points". These are added when an NPC does something really bad, like directly insulting the PC or sabotaging her pills. If he gets enough, the player gets a decision scene where they can decide if their character forgives him or if she'll forvermore consider him a total bastard.

In the latter case, it completely annihilates any liking she has for him and also greatly slows any future liking increases.

The options will vary for different characters though. Low self-esteem characters especially will be quite restricted - I think they won't get the full "he's a scumbag" option although I will give them a lighter version.

I hope you've all had a good weekend and I'll let you know when the commissioned work starts coming in.
