Our Christmas Tree (Patreon)

Hey everyone and Merry Christmas to you all. This Christmas was in all honesty probably one of the situationally worst Christmases I have ever experienced in my entire life. And that is saying something considering I am through 2 years of covid lockdown Christmases.

So for anyone who is not interested in me ranting for a bit, please enjoy the tree with a lot of the wonderful people that helped me through the year and the hard times. For anyone who is leftover, here I go.

It basically started in early November or late October, when both Tsukishima and I became sick. For me it was more of an off and on kinda thing, while for Tsukishima it was very much here to stay, even till now. At that point I was still distracted by how well our events were doing, as between Yggdrasil day 4 and the Christmas event the entire thing was amazing and we weren’t letting a little sickness get the better of us.

And that was our Motivation till shortly before christmas. The last week before Christmas, where everything went downhill.

In the last week alone I had to clock in sick twice and had to bear bad news from my college about a certain class. Then I lost contact with a very dear friend of mine for a good week, only to hear afterwards that they had been in a car crash, but thankfully they contacted me again today and nothing too bad happened. And when the time came, and my family planned a huge party at home and a big christmas celebration with my aunt and her family on the 24th… my parents got tested covid positive and we had to call off the entire thing. I had to leave the house for a few days and spend time with my aunt without my parents because they wanted to not contaminate me.

All in all, it was an awful Christmas for me. And even if I try to look at the positive side of things, it still was an awful Christmas. That’s why I am so thankful to the community and the discord server for keeping my spirits high. Thank you so much to everyone who spent time with me online! You truly are the reason why I got through this mess of a Christmas.
