Ring Ring

“Ah~ Teo! I have been waiting for you!” A voice rang out as soon as Teo opened the door to the bar, making him instantly breathe a sigh of relief. He wasn’t really used to this… Atmosphere in any way since this was pretty much his first time in a dedicated bar. But this was no time to waste time on such pointless notions…

“Hi back to you Oliver. Thank you for coming today and helping me with this.” Teo let out as he sat down at the table next to his friend, briefly looking around to make sure no one was looking to which Oliver immediately started laughing.

“Don’t worry, my guy! I have already told the bartender that you were bringing a gift from your work with you today for your promotion, so he was willing to let it slide today.” He said, winking at Teo with a big smile. “Isn’t he a pal?”

“Definitely. That makes stuff easier.” And the bottle of beer Teo was handed was immediately placed in the center of the table, as his worries that he would do something wrong just dissipated. “Look, Laura, the chief of administration, insisted on me trying this beer, since it was apparently out of this world good. But… you know…”

“Say no more~” Oliver interrupted, readying his jar and opening up the bottle. “I’ll taste test a good bottle for beer for you any day of the week~”

Oliver grabbed the mug filled with the intoxicating substance and slowly brought it to his mouth. Though he didn’t take a sip right away, taking the time to sniff the strange odor it produced instead.

“Well, the smell is out of this world, that’s for sure,” Olivier cringed a little. He looked down at the beer and seemed to hesitate to drink it. “You sure this isn’t poison?”

“I doubt any of the higher ups would want to harm me. In fact, according to Laura, drinking that beer is a sort of right of passage when you get promoted to a manager’s position,” Teo explained. Olivier squinted a bit and took a small sip of the beer. His eyes and face relaxed as the taste was far better than the smell. He didn’t drink too much of it, just a mouthful to get a taste of it.

“Ah, it certainly hits the spot!” Olivier laughed. “Surprised they decided to give you a promotion, does that make you the first human on the board?”
“And the first man, kind of strange isn’t it? I thought Laura and the other board members weren’t keen on human’s in their position,” Teo said.

“Well, perhaps they hired the best workers and just everyone before happened to be monster girls!” Olivier laughed! He took another sip of the beer, though as he did, Teo began to notice something strange happening to his friend. Olivier’s hair has a strange hint of green to its coloring and it looked a bit longer than Teo remembered it being.
Did Olivier dyed his hair? Or is it just the lighting of this place?” Teo wondered.

Olivier let out a relaxed sigh and placed the mug down.
“All man, you don’t know what you are missing out on!” He laughed. “You sure you want to stick being dry? This stuff is really good!”

“Nah, I’ll pass- uh, Olivier?” Teo asked. He noticed something else was different about him, his ears. They were now covered by his hair which now appeared even longer, though that wasn’t what Teo was concerned with. A pair of pointy and fluffy dog ears grew at the top of Olivier’s head, piercing through his thick head of hair.

“What’s up bro?” Olivier asked.
“Can I… scratch your ears?” Teo wasn’t sure why he asked that, but he suddenly had the urge to do so.
“Pff, already? We only just sat down!” Olivier laughed, yet didn’t refuse it in the slightest.

Instead, he took another large sip from his mug until it was completely empty, sat it on the table and leaned towards Teo, clearly presenting his head to him, whos thoughts were in a bit of disarray at that moment. “Why do I have a sudden urge to scratch him like that? Also, why is he letting me do it so voluntarily?”

Yet despite Teo’s conflicting thoughts, his hand still wandered to the top of Oliver's head, petting him gently at first, but quickly evolving into a passionate scratching of his fluffy ears. Oliver’s hair was soft and fluffy, his ears calming to play with and still, it seemed wrong for some reason. “It’s almost like Oliver's hair was literally growing out of his head against my fingers, but that couldn’t be the case, could it?”

“What were you saying?” Oliver purred, looking up at Teo from below with his strangely piercing green eyes that made his face look borderline attractive. “Sure, Oliver had always had a pretty face for a boy but today was…”

“Hey, Teo. Tell ya what.” Oliver spoke, sitting up straight again and picking up the bottle and his mug again to pour him another drink. “You might want to get out of your head a little bit. There is a cute girl sitting in front of you and you ask for head scratches and subsequently stare at her beauty. You know that it's hard to get promoted with behavior like that, right?”

“Huh, a cute girl?” Teo gasped. He was surprised by his friend’s words and how he was describing himself. “When did, oh I forgot that Olivier was-” Thoughts and ideas started to dance around in Teo’s head and his ability to tell what was real or not began to get a bit hazy. He took his eyes off of Olivier for a moment and saw that he looked a bit different now. Not his hair or ears, they were always like that. It was his…

“Uh, Oliver?”
“What’s up Teo?”
“Your chest….”
“Ah,” Oliver looked down to be greeted with two round assets sticking out of chest, causing her shirt to push forwards a bit. “Right, we aren’t at work! I can relax a little~” She giggled like a girl and reached for his top buttons, but a problem quickly arose.

Oliver’s hands were now somehow unexpectedly a lot larger and covered in a thick coat of fur, which somehow shocked both of them. It ran all the way down to her elbows but it didn’t cover her entire arm. “How could I have forgotten that it’s a bitch to unbutton with these!” Olivier grumbled. Teo wasn’t too shocked to see his friend struggle to get ahold of the button with her arm in that state, and with the look in his friend’s eyes, Teo knew what Oliver was going to ask next.

“Here, let me unbutton that for you,” Oliver reached for Teo’s top button and undid the first one.
“Ah, thanks dear! Could you do the other one too?”
“Other one? Oliver-”
“Come on Teo, you’ve seen these puppies in full before! They won’t fire me for just showing them off to my boyfriend~” Olivier giggled. Teo chose to ignore her tease, bit his lip and undid the button under the top one, causing Oliver’s cleavage to basically jump out of her blouse and figuratively into Teo’s face, to which Oliver only let out a relieved moan.
“That feels much better, I think I should use my new position to change our dress policy~”

“Wait… You got promoted?” Teo asked. Olivier glared at him though not with disgust or hate.
“Ah, you hurt my feelings Teo! How could you forget about my promotion?” Oliver playfully whimpered.
“I was just joking! I was just- uh, I don’t I had the funny idea I was the one getting promoted!” Teo laughed.

“Ha, I would be shocked if my company promoted a human to the board!” Olivier giggled. A fluffy tuff of fur began to wag on the back of Olivier’s seat. The sight of it shocked Teo for about a second before the urge to give his girlfriend more ear scratchies overtook him. He reached out again and began to stroke his date’s ears.
“Hey, you already got your fill, Teo!”
“Sorry Olivia, but your floof is too irresistible!”

“Haa~ This is the life~” Olivia moaned once again, seemingly in complete bliss of her treatment. She almost didn’t dare to drink anymore, though when she saw that only one last mug full was left in the bottle, Teo knew that she couldn’t just let that be.

“Haa~ Listen well, Teo~” Olivia chimed, sounding slightly tipsy, yet still just emptying the mug in one go like the absolute champion that she was. Teo, however, was more focused on giving Olivia more scratchies and pats.

“Starting tomorrow I will be one of the CEO’s of a major company.” Olivia said and turned to face Teo, her golden Hair ornaments briefly clingling as she moved.

“That means that I am going to make even more money than before. And maybe even have the power to put in motion major changes to this world.” Olivia continued as she put her soft, thicc and furried legs around Teos waist, basically sitting on top of him.

“And that means I can make even more happen for my little ol darling. I’ll be one step closer to being able to grant you any wish you can think of.” Olivia smiled brightly and started to press her chest against Teo’s, making him see how happily her tail swayed from side to side.

“Don’t you think I deserve a reward for that?” She then asked rhetorically, to which Teo immediately grinned and replied. “Oh? You mean something like this?”

And then they kissed… long and deeply. The usually professional Olivia nowhere to be seen, instead Teo was having quality time with his favorite Anubis girl on the planet. She truly was the greatest gift that was ever bestowed upon him, though it did make the notion of him getting the Promotion instead of Olivia seem downright silly.

As if that could have ever happened…

There is a reason why humans never get promoted in a monster girl company…
