The sound of the cannon firing was intense, but the air pressure against Akira's face was even more pressing. It was at this moment where he regretted most of his life choices. He had just been fired from a freaking cannon and now he was soaring through the air… unprotected… without anything. Would Nagisa really help him in a situation like this? Oh boy, he was so worried.

He soon found himself soaring through that familiar fog from before when he was climbing down the ladder with the rest of his fellows, and as he soared through it he felt himself changing. His form became daintier, slimmer, smaller and overall far more feminine as he even grew a proper pair of boobs mid-flight. “Oh come on! Isn't it bad enough that I’m flying through the air without any way to land safely! Why do i need boobs nooooowwwwwaaaa~”

His screams were nearly impossible for even him to hear as the wind was whistling in his ears which were becoming a bit longer and pointed, gaining a set of blue scales which soon spread down his arms. He also started gaining scales on his legs that spread down and covered the entirety of his calves while his feet were altered into three-toed clawed lizard feet which were also covered in the same azure scales.

Akira’s arms and hands had changed much in the same way his legs and feet had as they also gained scales, while his hands lost a digit and gained black claws in place of their usual fingernails. Though more importantly to him, as he fully changed into a she, was the sudden sprouting of a pair of dragon wings on her back.

“Oh thank goodness Nagisa really did help me!” She cried in relief as she flapped her wings and tried to course correct towards the hangar where the plan would have been to land safely and recoup, before figuring out where she was supposed to go next.

Key word: tried to, as she didn’t manage to steer far from her course at all, managing only to steer herself into a small cubby on the bottom of the temple, where some sort of giant ring device was located. And that ring was… wait, that looked like a portal! And she was flying straight at it at mach 2 even though 2 harpies, one big and one small were just about to step through it.

“Sooooorryyyyy!!! Cooooomiiiiing throoooooouuuuuuugh!!!” Akira yelled as she shot past both bird ladies with her eyes closed and directly through the portal, thankfully hitting neither on her way there. Though now she was through a portal to who knows where and would have definitely failed that trial.

When she opened her eyes, she was in midair, flying over a city… no, a landscape she had never seen before. Or had she? For some reason it all suddenly felt very familiar to her, like she had flown across this land many times before…

Yes… it was all coming back to Kiki. This was Codira, a world that she had made her life’s mission to explore completely. From the skies and the highest mountains, over the lands and every cave to even the deepest crevices of the largest seas, she was going to explore and map out all of it.

And she was on the best way to do so too. Kiki’s skills and her aerial, grounded and water nature caused her to be by far the best scout for Poldur Nagisa’s army ever had. Being kind of free spirited and having a dream, Kiki was never one to stay in a single place for a very long time, yet she was still indispensable for Nagisa’s forces, as she provided the most important and most accurate information of any scout.

And the best part was, that even though she was eternally loyal to Nagisa, she could still follow her dream without any issues. After all, the map wasn’t going to chart itself~
