“Huh? Have I heard the legends of the Wash-away waters? What is that supposed to be?” Christian asked, hovering at the pool surface to listen intently and humor his friend. However, the more he listened to him, the less what he said made sense. Until finally…

“For real?” Christian asked, lying down to float on his back in the calm water, trying to comprehend everything his friend had just said. “Do you seriously want to tell me that if you, in this pool, submerge yourself completely and speak the magic words ‘Wash-away waters wash my worrisome worries away’ underwater, then the water grants you a wish? It honestly sounds more like it would, you know, ‘wash some worries away’, but never mind that.”

His friend explained some more, to which Christian could only roll his eyes. This was utterly ridiculous, but sounded like something he wanted to try more and more. That's when Christian finally spoke up again. “Alright, alright. I’ll do it. Even if just to prove to you that nothing will happen.”

Christian's friend looked on in anticipation, which only made Christian himself feel even more ridiculous. The things one does for friends sometimes borders on absolute stupidity, but as long as it wasn’t harming anyone Christian didn’t mind doing it for his friend. So one last time, he shook his head, took a deep breath, and dived down underwater, noticing immediately how clear that pool was.

Maybe he would go diving a little bit more later on, but for now, he had a stupid request to fulfill.

“Blugb-blugb blugter, blub blu blublu blubls bluby?”

It only occurred after the fact that talking underwater might be a little more difficult than he initially thought. But hey, as long as the water still knew what he meant, it hopefully wasn't an issue. So Christian shrugged his shoulders and dived back up, ready to tell his friend what absolutely fantastical nothing just happened underwater.

But just as he broke through the water's surface, he was halted. From one moment to the next, he had completely lost track of where he was, now feeling like he was floating aimlessly through water. He didn’t even know if he was still in the water or not, he was just that dizzy.

That's when he heard his friend's voice again, faint and in the distance, making it almost impossible to make out what he said. But the next moment, he had almost forgotten that he ever heard anything from his friend as a much bigger thought flooded his brain.

Did he swim well enough?

It was an odd question, but one that somehow didn’t let him go for some reason. He knew he wasn’t that bad at swimming, but was that good enough? Hard to say. He didn’t even know if he was underwater at the moment, so how could he be…

Wooosh~

It felt like a gentle force of water pressed on him from all sides, but most importantly, making him feel like it went in one ear, and out the other. Christian felt even more dizzy than he did before, now not even knowing whether he was right side up to be honest. Everything was so confusing, yet one thing seemed crystal clear.

He was one of the best swimmers around, training almost every day for his absolute favorite sport. And despite the somewhat weird situation, there was now a certain calmness that washed over him, just by being in the water.

That's when another question appeared in his mind. Was he thin enough?

There was no way he would even have considered himself fat, but also thin was something very different from what he knew he was. So maybe he…

Whoosh~

Again it seemed like the water was purposefully caressing him, bubbling against his stomach like it was burning something from there, while Christian reveled in the feeling of having the water flow through his head again. In one ear, out the other, taking his thoughts to a halt as he just simply enjoyed…

Where was he again…?

Maybe he was underwater and thinking about… Was his ass sexy enough?

What a weird question to ask himself, but at the same time, it didn’t leave him alone. He had a somewhat fit physique, but he didn’t think his behind was anything special at…

Whoosh~

…but with that weird current around his ass, it was hard to concentrate. It felt like it was flowing between his legs, around his thighs, and right into his behind, which somehow felt like they were gaining in volume as well. But that water in his ears made it so hard to… Was he girly enough?

Girly…? That water around his head made it so hard to think… Was it normal that he was supposed to be girly? With his girly behind and thick thighs he trained from swimming, he didn’t mind getting mistaken for a girl sometimes, but still…

Whoosh~

There it was again, the stream of water flowing through his ears and cleaning away all of his nasty thoughts before he even had the chance to think them. He was moderately sure that the water was also massaging his privates with the same care, seemingly pressing it further and further in until it finally found a passage inside of his body down below.

But she didn’t mind. It was only water after all.

…what was she thinking about again?

Wasn’t it something about… Did she have enough buoyancy in her chest?

There might be some truth to that, as she was currently in water and not floating upwards. Despite how girly she may appear, there was no denying that she had always been kinda lacking in the chest area, but that’s

Whoosh~

Ah… She was holding on to whatever she could, but the water pressure against her ears was just simply too great. She wouldn’t lose focus! Not this time. She knew she was just thinking about her B-cup breasts, and nothing was going to change that. It doesn’t matter if the water presses harder against her solid C-cup or if the stream through her ears tries to take her focus away from her rather large D-cup. This time, she would stay focused!

“Ah! cough cough” The girl yelped, finally getting to the water surface and struggling to breathe. She felt like air had been no issue for the last couple of what felt like hours, but just then was when she reached her limit.

Her friend asked if she was okay, to which she only shyly nodded. But when her friend came closer, something unexpected happened, and she found herself under the water once again, as if her friend had pushed her down. But the haze over her mind made her struggle to think just a little bit.

Which is when she heard her friend say Was she ready to be his ideal girlfriend?

That just sounded absurd, after all the two of them had been friends for the longest time. There wasn't…

Whoosh~

Though she had to admit he was kinda good looking… and he did like swimming as much as she did, but…

Whoosh~

…that didn’t mean she was good enough for him, right? However, he did admit that he liked the fact that she was stacked… and she was good at their favorite activity. So maybe she had a chance in…

Whooooosh~

“Ahhh! Why am I so worried about this?!?” She dove out of the water, shocking her friend as he took a step backward. “Get your shit together, Melody! There is no way he doesn't have a crush on you! Just talk to him!”

That's when Melody realized that her friend was still standing right beside her, making the whole situation awkward. Eventually, Melody just started to laugh it off. “Sorry about that, I just had a weird fantasy where I wasn’t sure whether the two of us were a pair or not. But clearly, I was just stupid. Hahaha~”

“Huh? What are you saying? Of course we are not a couple. Come on, at least be less obvious with your approach, silly~.” Melody laughed, casually swimming towards the edge of the pool. “Anyway, I am going out. I think that was enough swimming for today~”

Her friend now seemed kinda desperate, which only made Melody giggle, as he did look quite cute fumbling like that. Finally, she turned around as she climbed up the ladder out of the pool, giving him a knowing smile. “I did it already, I promise. And nothing special happened. But if you are so obsessed with that myth, you can try it yourself.”

Well, that wasn’t entirely true. She did remember that it felt rather nice and like her head was finally able to relax for once. And she did want to be his girlfriend, but not as easily as that, because she knew he would have to work a little harder to get her. But Melody didn’t need to tell him that. After all, the second thing was obvious and the first he would find out anyway should he ever try that magic phrase out himself~

…why did making her best friend into her perfect girlfriend flash into her mind for a brief moment there…?

Water is great. It can wash away anything. Your fatigue, your stress, your worries, your sweat, your manliness… simply everything.
