So funny thing about this episode: the real game ended in the reverse. We actually did help the champion of bad hair, but then he pulled through with a big favor for us as thanks. At the time, we knew we were probably doing well, but the player Lawry stood in for refused a moral turn-around, so he wound up scamming people to steal their money on false pretenses. That would have led to a bunch of the donations being revoked, and probably additional trouble, so the Champion of Bad Hair helped solve the problem at the last minute so as to wrap everything up.

Of course it doesn't feel like as good of a story if you have a character doing bad deeds and then doubling down and getting worse. You've got to do something with that, so for the podcast version, Lawry's character grows a little, and we can say he's still the hero in the end, whether he made the right or wrong choice ultimately.

Oh yeah also the pitch for the next game sounds exactly like something I would love to be a player in. No matter the system really. Hopefully I can get one of my associates to run something like that one day.

Well, the premise is a fun idea and I liked the challenges (except for the finals), but did I miss something or did the last two episodes not contain a single super power usage? Also I was kinda hoping for the heroes to actually get promoted and see how the people respond to a promotion of smudged up windows, melted tupperware and precarious balance, and maybe even a bit of recollection of previous seasons that ended up promoting similarly stupid powers.
