So begins "Your Favorite Toys!" a sharp heel turn from the game that might have been better as a book written in the third person, this is a story clearly inspired by Toy Story, but imagine if all the toys were very stupid and trying to serve the overriding purpose of bringing joy to a child without really understanding any broader nuances.

Left out of this tale from the original game was a player who decided to be a slinky. I figured the Stretch Armstrong knock off could likely also play the role of a toy that trips people and easy walks down stairs. As far as how useful any given toy was, to be honest, the spider and its ability to climb around without being noticed was incredibly powerful given that being spotted would cause paralysis in any of us. We all made fun of them for being a cheap Halloween prop, but who's laughing when you can't move your colorful, plastic diaphragm to laugh?

Lovin' this! Lawry as DM is definitely a new dynamic to the series that I'm enjoying so far. The story changing from a high-stakes space-and-politics rock drama to the adventures of a sad and lonely boy's toy's is a refreshing change. (And a pretty darn funny setup considering Lawry's character) Looking forward to more!

Mrs. Policewoman

I wasn't super big on the last one for the most part (although the last episode was pretty good), but I really like the direction this one is going in.

I just want to say, from now on I'll picture each of those toys with a mandatory cane and beard. They almost beat the gramps in Cowboy Bebop in depicting old age.

Toy Story but with a depressed kid is an interesting setting. I'm curious what you'll do with it. :-)

Loving all of these, though can't help but feel channeling of inner Rupert through Lawry. Much slower, brooding pace that sets up juxtaposition of depressing themes against humor... particularly through reactions and how Lawry's setting up the scenes. Curious to see how this develops :)

Borg Lord

It's only natural Eric would include a totem of the year's best holiday among his most treasured toys.

Dandy

Poor Lawry. TTRPG is no substitute for therapy.
