Even in real life, the "mystery" part of this game devolved into baseless accusing NPCs and ridiculous violence. Mystery games are some of the most notoriously difficult to pull off, especially if what the group is used to is more comedic stuff. In high school, a friend once tried to manage a horror campaign, but two players got frustrated and quit running from the monster, and the monster stopped. After that they realized it wouldn't attack because it'd kill party members before the game was over, and it was all downhill from there.

This showcases just how brainwashed Lawry got. Animal wounds and Fluffin' mentioned, he should have already added two plus two; but also, even on the first episode he should have taken no chances and emptied a gun into the hazard's head (yes, I would have done that). He is either doing it on purpose, or lost his game reading entirely.

Ok that episode was hilarious. Same for the anecdote in the description. That poor beginner GM really should've given his monster a nonlethal attack, like poison, blindness, nightmarish visions and such.
