So as I've been doing these pages, I felt like I was having some trouble drawing the character without a rig. He's about as basic as it gets, I know, but I was struggling with proportions, perspective, and all that jazz. It was driving me crazy. So I spent last week brushing up on my fundamentals and trying to unpack what I was doing wrong, and I think it did help. After this page I've got some more dynamic poses and shots, which make the whole layout a lot more intersting.
