I think I mentioned before that Franz was actually a wizard/cleric. He was a divination wizard and a cleric of knowledge, using the class's special ability to rig dice rolls once per day. Generally it's regarded as one of the most powerful wizard builds available in 5e DnD, but I thought instead of having more wizards, I'd keep some of the divination elements and have Franz be a bit of an intellectual with no memory of what he's even knowledgeable about.
