Still trying to make simple backgrounds look alright. I tried adding some cracks on the walls in this one so they wouldn't be standing behind empty, manila voids, but there's probably no real substitute for having a few props around the place.

Unrelated to the art, I got some criticism after the last comic that it's become really unclear what Stebe is doing or what he's trying to accomplish, and I'm not sure exactly how to feel about it since it came right as I introduced this guy who's supposed to shed some clarity on the situation and give Lina and Stebe some opportunity to voice their motives. I am trying to keep Stebe on the inscrutable side, of course, but not to the extent it gets obnoxious or stops being fun to read.
