Radio Skyline, Episode 5 (Patreon)

The commercial for the jewelry shop is based on a real ad that used to run on my local radio for years. Basically there's a woman crying, and the spokesman for the company concludes that if men bought women diamonds more often, then women wouldn't cry so much. It might have been funny for the audacity of it, but the commercial was actually a little bit annoying. Mainly because they insisted of giving the spokesman a hokey French accent.

The deer situation is also something that happened in my local area! For whatever reason, the hunters were only allowed to use crossbows. I think it's because the park was right next to a residential area and officials felt more comfortable about limiting the noise. I suppose otherwise a lot of locals not up on the news might have called the police around the clock on the day the hunting was scheduled to happen.
