Kaybe is excellent at subterfuge, yes. By pickpocketing her target in the middle of the street in town, then leading her away on a chase, she has cleverly deflected suspicion away from herself, when her target's corpse is inevitably found in the place where she publicly chased Kaybe. Clearly Kaybe cannot be the murderer, because she is already the pickpocket, yes. That is logic and therefore Kaybe is safe.
