Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

Big Hero 6 is basically the Japanese governments answer to The Avengers with one of their famous members being Silver Samurai a Japanese mutant and nemesis of Wolverine who eventually becomes a more heroic figure. Silver Samurai was also the field leader of the group and is such a cool character. Manga Roster: Silver Samurai. Sunfire. GoGo Tomago. - In the film Honey Lemon. - In the film Hiro Takachiho. - In the film Baymax. - In the film Ebon Samurai. Sunpyre. But with this film they pretty much ventured so far into their own world that Marvel kind of just went "It's too different to the Manga, may as well do you're own thing" so that's why Big Hero 6 is not a Marvel film but just inspired by the Big Hero 6 lore and does use many of the same characters from the Manga. Also Stan Lee gets a cameo anyways and I don't blame him as this film is amazing lol

I didn't realize this was kind of intertwined with Marvel so I was very surprised to see Stan!

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

In Age of Ultron you could see a scene where Stark is rifling through his backup A.I. options where he picks out FRIDAY as his new AI. But there's also a TADASHI A.I. chip a nod to Tadashi Hamada the creator of Baymax. That's like the only reference to Big Hero Six in the MCU. Would love to see them one day in the MCU, Marvel own the rights to X-Men now so Silver Samurai is free to be introduced as well. Would change things up from all the Avengers content in the past 10 years.

This movie was basically my complete favourite movie for many years after it came out. It leaves my mind for a few months at a time sometimes nowadays, but I'm always extremely happy to return to it.

I have a feeling this movie will be like that for me too. Though it's def not my #1. I have no idea if any movie will push Interstellar out of that spot haha. But it's def a top 5 animated movie for me now!

I don't think Callahan was going after Hiro, so much as Hiro was going after him and standing in his way from killing Krei, so he had to somehow try and stop the interference (even if harshly). I think if Hiro hadn't wanted revenge Callahan would have not even stepped into Hiro's life again.

Ah love this movie. This was my 3rd time seeing it and the last time was 6 years ago. This was great timing, I needed something uplifting and wholesome like this. I never knew there was a credits scene so that was great to see for the first time. Not much to say other than great movie great reaction! Thanks for sharing this with us!

I needed the excuse to watch this film today. It’s an almost perfect film. The characters, the story, the environment. I’m glad you enjoyed it. You reacted the same way they did & watching you break down drove home Hiro’s loss as well. Saw this in theaters with my daughters when it came It was because Stan was in it did we dive into and find out this had ties to a Marvel property. As always, thanks for both sharing your experience with us and trusting this community in the polls.

Great reaction, especially to the twists throughout! In case you ever visit Disneyland, they have transformed part of Disney California Adventure to San Fransokyo Square, including Aunt Cass Cafe. It's looking amazing.
