Hey everyone! I know a lot of you aren't in my Discord server and don't follow me on social media, so I wanted to share some photos from this past weekend with you all! First up is my photo with Hayden Christensen and the autograph that I got from him!

I had a few things planned to say to him during the autograph, because I knew I'd have more time than the photo, but honestly NOT MUCH. Once I realized just how little time I actually had to talk to him, I had to improvise very quickly. 😅 Getting to experience just how many people they run through both autographs and photo ops, I honestly have way more respect for him (and other big celebrities) for smiling and signing for so many hours in a row. I know I would be absolutely exhausted by the end of that. And even after all that, he then got up on stage for about 45 minutes to chat. He talked about being back in Star Wars and his experience filming Obi-Wan Kenobi, he reminisced on moments from the prequels and talked a lot about Nick Gillard and the lightsaber battle training, he played a game of This or That (that the audience also played), and then a couple people in the audience let him know that the Leafs won the series last night, to which his reaction was PRICELESS and so fun. Here's a video of that moment.

Outside of Hayden stuff, I had a great time walking around and looking at all the vendors and I ended up purchasing some things to put in the office and around the house!

First up is this beautiful Ahsoka artwork that the artist signed for me.

Then I got three prints from the same artist, Disparody, who paints really hilarious scenes. First up, "Dropping Acid".

Then "Sith's Sense". I had to get this one because of my love of metal music.

And finally, my favourite piece... "Imperial Baking Party". There are so many DETAILS in this one that make me laugh so hard. Palpatine wearing Crocs. Vader wearing a Hufflepuff apron. The family photo on the wall of Vader, Luke, and Leia. The carbonite Han Solo. The Live Love Laugh poster. And the Death Star lights.

Disparody was offering a pretty steep discount for Expo goers, which is why I decided to get these! But if you wanted to shop these hilarious prints for yourself, you can do so here.

OH I FORGOT. I also bought 3 movie posters! Here they are:

Finally, I didn't get very many photos with cosplayers. But there were three that I had to.

First up, Jon Snow and the Night King:

And finally, Captain Rex from Rebels. ❤️ Honestly a perfect cosplay.

My first Expo was very fun, but very tiring. I am so stoked my best friend was able to join me on Saturday. She didn't buy an autograph, but they allowed up to 3 people to go into the autograph room even if only one person was getting something signed. So she was able to get that chance to see Hayden and say hello to him (and him back to her). So that was really exciting for her and I'm really happy she was able to join me for that.

Finally... a real "OMG" moment for me was when a couple viewers of the channel recognized me and got my attention. They were just ahead of me and my friend in the lineup for Hayden's autograph and a photo was taken! I told him to share it on Instagram and tag me, which he did!

My Alberta viewership is not that large (relative to the population), so to meet someone who watches my channel often enough to recognize me and say something was very cool. 😊 And one of the members here (Burnsey) was at the Expo too, though unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet in person.

And that about wraps up the weekend! I will be officially on my break now, and I'll post again here on Patreon on Friday when I'm back at it. I'm excited to take a big screen break and finally tackle some home things that I've been neglecting for a while, but hey it's that spring cleaning time of year anyway so it's fine, right. Also going to take the opportunity to rearrange the office stuff a little bit to show off some of the things I got!

Wishing you all the most fantastic week ahead! ❤️

Love that artwork and it must have been amazing meeting Hayden! Is that the first time you were recognized in the wild by a viewer? Looks like you had a blast!

Looks like you had a blast! So awesome you got to meet Hayden Christiansen. I definitely would have not known what to say. I usually don't being an introvert 😆 It's been a little while since I've gone to a con. I was actually supposed to go to one this weekend but I decided not to. Instead I went to go see Return of the Jedi in theaters for the 40th anniversary. You also scored some cool merch. I always want to buy everything I see at cons.

It was the first time and I let him know that too. My friend complimented his Yoda backpack and then he did a double take at me right after that.

Oh I hope you had a good time! I've decided to set aside a few hours later this week to go see it in theatres myself!

It was great! ROTJ is my favorite of the OG trilogy. I know that's blasphemy amongst OG Star Wars fans but IDC 😁 This was also the first time I'd seen any of the OG trilogy in theaters too.

Looks like you had a blast! I Star Wars cosplay in the 501st Legion and I love these types of events.

Right on! I’m glad to hear you had a great time! Have fun spring cleaning, looking forward to seeing the office once you get it all set with some of your new artwork. Have a good break, hopefully you can get some rest in between cleaning.

Awesome! :) Do you go to these things often or os this as a result of watching Star Wars? ;) I spent the Friday afternoon at Star Wars Celebration down in London a couple of weeks ago. Even though I couldn't get in tho the event because I didn't have a ticket (sold out for Friday) I was still able to meet and talk to a lot of fellow fans and make lots (lots!) of photos of them outside the main entrance. I got given a Bad Batch pin too which is very lovely (i collect pins so i was thirlled). Hoewver, on closer inspection it actually says "Dad Batch" which it turns out is a podcast by fans of the Bad Batch (i think they are on youtbe as well). I'm still very happy to have this pin :) I even met a youtuber too :) and, and I also met George Lucas! The real George, you can't convince me that he was a comedian in a bad wig and facial hair, I have pics and vids to prove it ;) i type too much... Glad you had fun.

This was my first Expo! I definitely went because of Hayden, but I would definitely go again even if I wasn't getting a photo or autograph with anyone. It sounds like you had a blast outside SWC! Who was the YouTuber? I know the Blind Wave guys were there and did a meetup and had a lot of their viewers stop them for photos during each day of it.

The youtuber is Louise Julie. She was cosplaying as a character from one of the Star Wars games I think. There's a pic or two in my insta. A few other youtubers I watch were there too but as i didn't have a ticket (day tickets were sold out) hanging out for the afternoon outside was all I had. Happily it was warm and sunny (for April) and lots of fans were hanging out outside. and I live three hours away from London so I spent more time on a train than at the event :) and I'd do it again.

Great photos! That dude in the last photo is wearing my avatar! That's Manny Calavera from the classic adventure game Grim Fandango. Clearly he has good taste since he also watches your Youtube!

Looks and sounds like you had a great time! Wonderful that you got to meet Hayden. Thanks for sharing your experience. :)
