Nice! This is my first time watching these in chronological order. I didn’t realize that we were introduced to Ventress this early.

Hey, Kaiielle! The battle droids are identical to those from "Phantom Menace" because the Trade Federation was one of the organizations secretly backing the Separatist Alliance. The squat-faced droids are called tactical droids. Rex, Anakin's bald clone with blue inverted 'V' markings on his helmet, is the protagonist clone of the series introduced in this episode. He is one of the best characters in the franchise. Cody, Kenobi's clone in orange with the facial scar, is the clone who ordered Kenobi fired upon in "Revenge of the Sith". Asajj Ventress was introduced in the non-canon micro-series where she auditions to be Dooku's apprentice and duels with Anakin for the first time. She is a complex figure and a fan favorite. The novel "Dark Disciple" is the only place to discover her ultimate fate and should be read in Season 6 after the Yoda Arc. After issuing orders for Loathsom, Ventress is shown walking to the squid-like vehicle used to kidnap Jabba's son, Rotta, in the animated movie. Slick's sabotage of the motor pool leaves the clones with only the heavy cannons to rely on for defense of the city at the beginning of the animated movie. Slick reveals to the viewer that the clones are independent thinkers despite their genetic programming and his grievance isn't unfounded or easily dismissed.

Alex, you must keep your comments less detailed with spoiler stuff and please only talk about what happened in each episode as you are watching them with me. You could have waited until I've watched the Yoda Arc to let me know about a certain character's "ultimate fate" is found in another piece of media, instead of telling me so early. Now I sit here and know that "something" will happen with Asajj and that I won't get full closure from the show. Like I said in my other comment, you need to be careful about what you're typing to me.
