It can also be looked at in the light of Steve Jobs and Apple, Bill Gates and Windows, Amazon and Jeff Bezos, Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. All these companies are still wildly popular and successful despite their owners/creators being total shitbags. It's difficult to take a stance on something when capitalism literally makes hypocrites of us all.
