The original debut for the RE Engine gets a new patch for PS5 and Xbox Series systems - once again adding ray-tracing and 120Hz Modes. The difference next to the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake updates? Performance is very nicely optimised for 4K and 60FPS even with ray-tracing enabled - though Series S flags a few more issues than the two premium machines.

Great video as always! By the way, noticed that the YouTube video is capped at 1080p, not sure if it was intentional or not

Probably YouTube still processing the video to get the 4K-version up... although it is still not up (could take a while of course), but could be that it just was edited at 1080p, which would be a shame of course... Edit: source file we can download as Patreon Supporter is 4K, so probably indeed still processing on YouTube :)

Yeah, I noticed the supporter direct download is 4K (as you'd expect!). It will probably be what you said, YouTube is still processing the 4K content!

Yes, we are once again having issues with 4K encoding at YouTube. The DF Direct Special on the Xbox presser took about a week to finally deliver a 4K version :/
