Honestly, while I could think TLOU Part 1 would be understandable for the 10th year anniversary, because it looks like a 1:1 remake, the way it is pushed for this year rubs me the wrong way. TLOU has been remastered barely one year after the ps3 version, which was already ridiculous. But now, it's a remake. I feel like they denying the original vision like that. It feels a bit like Lucas editing the original Star Wars. Be ready to hear the emperor's scream when Joël falls off the rope.

30:55 Can't figue out if the 'headroom made' reframing was an editing gag or not. If so that's one clean key/roto job.

Honestly I’m looking forward to it. Last played it at launch on PS3 so this is a good excuse to replay it, and bringing to PC some people might experience it for the first time. 10th anniversary would of been a nice touch. As far as original vision, Neil Druckmann is the writer and director on both the original and remake, so for all we know might be bringing it closer to his original vision with fewer technical limitations. As long as Sony keeps the listing for the original available I don’t see much of an issue with a remake.

On my case, I played it on PS4 after trying it on PS3. But I understand your point of view. And yes, as long as Sony keep both previous version listed, this should be ok. PC is a nice touch too.
