The Digital Foundry #content meeting for the week has finished, meaning we can talk about what's coming this week and what irons are in the fire. It's an interesting time for sure owing to the nigh-on complete lack of new games, and nothing triple-A for months to come. This means we move onto arguably more interesting stuff - original stories!

* Oliver is on the home straight on this analysis of the original Durango Xbox One and how it fares in the cross-gen era, up against Xbox One S. This has proven to be more interesting than we suspected! After that, he moves onto Sniper Elite 5 - yes, a brand new game!

* John continues his one-man campaign to make 2022 the Year of the Triple, as the PS3 1080p Dream DF retro episode is now an absolute monster, with over 50 games covered. This will go out to Retro supporters this week, and will likely be split into two for public release at some point in the future - yes, it's THAT big.

* Audi is back in the saddle, working on a new Retro Q+A episode for retro supporters, while also editing up the next DF Retro play which focuses on N64 first-person shooters.

* Tom finally completes the input latency video work we're doing on Nvidia Reflex.

* Will has Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 3090 Ti reviews for Eurogamer on the tail-end of production.

* Alex is considering the next PC time capsule video and will be working on the Hitman ray tracing upgrade video.

* Rich (ie me) is again trying to get the 'PS5 Pro' video complete. It's been a little tricky as I've had to help both John and Tom with their content. Tracking down obscure PS3 titles that allegedly supported 1080p (and sometimes finding that they didn't at all) has been a pain!

As usual, let us know if there are things we should be looking at or covering, but in the meantime, have a great week!

The third triple game about the triple. 50 games! It's going to be a monster. Can't wait.

Any news on when the Rebellion interview might be done in editing and released to the public?

Mike Carter

Any interest in taking a look at the Matrix Awakens demo running on UE5.1? There have been a few reddit threads that claim significantly better preformance (once shaders compile), DX12U integration, and the addition of transparency reflections.

Im going to buy a PS5 Pro so I can play Ape Escape at 50hz, massive flex on my part, balling like a PS triple on nitro.
