A few hours' head start on this one! We were looking to punt it out sooner, but Adobe Premiere issues caused problems once again. Halo Infinite was rough around the edges on release with animation issues, frame-pacing woes and extra problems in cutscenes. Some issues were tackled post-launch, but it's with the release of the Season 2 patch that some long-standing issues have finally been resolved. Alex Battaglia and John Linneman investigate.

Thank you for your analysis on this season 2. (there's a small fix on its way apparently but I don't remember for what) With what you discovered, I get the feeling they're getting there, slowly, but surely. I do hope 343i's team will figure it out before the release of coop campaign. We had issues on MCC in coop because of different refresh rate between host and client, and sometimes I think they're still here but less annoying. More present for this annoying guy in the group having 3 screens and watching a random sitcom and not getting focused on the game ... Anyway, I agree with you guys, the basics are good. I even think they're pretty solids. I had a good time on my first play-through without thinking of the weapons animation at 30, and again after a few patches on a legendary run.
