Let's say you're a bunch of tech journalists producing a weekly show based on gaming and technology news... and there's not really any worthwhile gaming or technology news to speak of? In an ideal world, we'd give ourselves the week off but #content never sleeps... and to be fair, we've managed to pull something out of the bag here.

Was anyone else a little saddened when they announced that 48% of announced upcoming games are using Unreal? While it's definitely impressive, I share the concerns that beautifully bespoke engines that are tailor made for projects are becoming more of a rarity. It just felt a little gross to be celebrating that. It's certainly compelling technology though.

Thank you, guys!

Happy to hear Arctic Edge will feature in the Motorstorm retrospective- I love all the PS3 games until RC, and I strongly feel AE is just as good as they are. Just a shame it never made the jump from PSP or PS2 to PS3 so more could have experienced it- and even more of a shame that none have been remastered for the following PS generations. Last year I asked Paul Rustchynsky, Game Designer on all the PS3 games & Lead on the later entries & also DriveClub, his perspective on if a remastered collection was possible- hopefully the whole twitter thread will link- https://twitter.com/pp13533d/status/1389932185646342148?fbclid=IwAR0jJj2IszJpHo6bIakbuicAKZRGdWhGqAa9cKIFlib7AcjS7zgshmcGAXo
