I've just emerged from our weekly content meeting, having tried to get to grips with the schedule. Obviously there's a certain game arriving next week - Halo Infinite - that is going to require significant time investment with a large swath of team resources. Obviously, you're going to want a full tech review. And yes, everyone is going to want to see how Halo Infinite's campaign will run on Xbox One and Xbox One X machines. And as for PC... that's been a cause of concern for us and we want it to be good. Assuming we get the game in advance, we'll need to be ready for next week's embargo while at the same time making sure we have stuff for you this week.

I won't do into the exact specifics of what everyone is doing this week as things are in flux and there may well be a traditional pivot, but what I can say for sure is that Tom will be delivering a look at Skyrim's anniversary edition, while Rich (ie me) is still aiming to deliver that deep dive into Forza Horizon 5, as told by the people who made it. In preparation for the Halo fun and games to come next week when the game releases, Audi will be joining John to go hands on with Halo: Combat Evolved on OG Xbox.

We're also looking to show off the highly promising Evercade VS in a live stream, something we were talking about last week. Fingers crossed we can pull that off as the hardware is looking great.

Oddworld Soulstorm Enhanced Edition also launches this week on Xbox, and we'll be trying to find a way to take a look at that. Also: I'm not quite if and when I'll be doing this, but if you listened to DF After Dark, you'll have heard about me talking about the first time that I ever plotted console performance in graph form over footage. Unfortunately, that footage no longer exists (back in the dark days, YouTube was awful and competing services were better, but unfortunately shortlived...) but I'm thinking of recreating that first experiment. Could be fun!

Anyway, that's as much of our week right now - much to do! Hope you have a good one too!

I didn't say so earlier, but the #content recently has been great. I particularly enjoyed the debut "After Dark " podcast and I'm looking forward to the next one... Keep up it up guys!

It’s still the dark days for Tom, being forced to look at Skyrim again. November / December 2011 is when Tom’s Skyrim coverage started. Who did you upset at work bud?

Tom will never escape Skyrim lol. They will release one every year until Elder Scrolls 6 and then Tom will be stuck with that game and the 50 versions that come in between 6 & 7 lol.
