UPDATE: This post has now been updated with the new version of the Direct, which adds the Xbox SSD testing and updates the Abandoned story with a look at the patch.

Far be it for me to blame Friday the 13th, but last week was a bit of a trial for Digital Foundry! Due to circumstances outside of our control, our Crysis 2 Remastered content was pushed back a week, Rich bricked a Series S, the Shadow of the Tomb Raider analysis was delayed - and that's actually the tip of the iceberg, hence fewer than expected updates.

Continuing the challenges, our lead news item for this week in DF Direct Weekly - the Abandoned debacle - will likely also need to be tweaked, as last night the 'real-time trailer' app was actually updated with... the Twitter teaser! We're likely to tweak, add to or perhaps even remove this segment altogether for the full public release on Monday but we thought we'd share what we think of this bizarre situation with our Patreon supporters regardless.
