How about a bit of early access to kick off the week? It's been a long while since we looked at Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. Fundamentally, we've been tracking the last-gen editions, which were more interesting - and clearly in need of a lot more optimisation.

Initially, we went into this one hoping that the Xbox One range of consoles would see the same kind of improvements via Patch 1.23 that we saw on PlayStation 4. However, things are effectively unchanged, which opens up some interesting questions. Tom was tasked with collecting the performance data from all systems for patch 1.23 (just as he has with every major patch) but as this is supposedly the last major update before the next-gen version properly arrives, we wanted to get the metric for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles in their current state - and that turned out to be a somewhat more interesting story... so here it is!

I hope they do something for image clarity in the Series X upgrade. I assume it's just their TAA implementation, but even Quality mode looks far blurrier than it should, given the number of pixels present.
