Hello everyone, Rich here. Let's cut to the chase - it's a super-busy week here at the Foundry as we begin the lead-up to E3, but the game releases are coming thick and fast, plus there's some hardware business to take care of too.

* Rich (ie me) will be reviewing the RTX 3070 Ti this week, which we fully predict to straddle the middle-ground between RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 - in performance, price, everything. So it'll be interesting to see if there's anything more to it.

* If all goes to plan, Tom will be tackling Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for PlayStation 5.

* It's Ratchet and Clank PS5 release week, so expect a magnum opus from John. We'll likely be tackling the various performance modes in a secondary video.

* As discussed in the latest DF Direct Weekly, Alex has a detailed analysis of the latest Unreal Engine 5 demo running on PC.

* We're looking to take a look at the Watch Dogs Legion 60fps patch.

* We have a very special guest taking a look at Final Fantasy 14 on PlayStation 5!

Patreon exclusives? We're experimenting with something special for Ratchet and Clank, there'll be another Classic FPS Analysis later in the week (we're still mulling over candidates there) while Audi will be editing up the latest DF Retro Pick-Ups, while John will be joining him for a live discussion with Retro Supporters about the making of the 2hr 45min PlayStation 1 epic!

We're still figuring out how to handle the E3 conferences, so check back on that. We're thinking about Directs after the fact, or possibly doing a live conference 'watchalong' - let us know what you think about those ideas!

I think after the fact videos on the directs would be best - gives some time to analyze. Commenting on the E3 feeds live I don’t think would provide as much insight.

If Nintendo do present the switch pro, I would love to see a DF direct as soon as possible on it :)

Looks like a good week, personally.i prefer after stream analysis more than livestreams of the events. Let's me focus on the event and then concentrate on the analysis. Disclaimer: I really enjoyed your look backs at previous announcements such as Xbox One and PS4, so more like that in the future would be awesome.

Watchalong would be cool, i like the detailed looks at each session, however doing it on the live event might not give enough time to talk about everything, so maybe having you watch it back and discuss it after the broadcast would be better where you can pause and skip some parts. So you can do it live, but not the live event kind of :)

If you do cover e3 please don't do it live. That way you're getting the full 4k 60 footage

Looking forward to all of the Ratchet and Clank Coverage.

As an American I would love for y’all to live-stream E3, but I know time zones would make that rather difficult, plus if you wait and record a reaction after like you did for the Sony and Microsoft stuff last year, you would have access to the full quality video

Bryan McIntosh

I'd rather you do your E3 commentaries after the fact, when you have time to go over and freeze-frame things as necessary and collect your thoughts/kudos/biting criticisms. I am looking forward to your reactions, since they're always insightful!

I am putting in my guess right now! The FFIV Coverage will be 'special guested' by none other than Try (Marc) from My Life in Gaming (known for his role as John Carmack's Voice in the DF Retro Quake video).

Totally and if there were ever a perfect pair to be honorary members of DF it's Try and Cory.

A detailed analysis of the infamous ff7 door, of course

E3 coverage, It’s all a little disjointed this year. So ideally if we could get an E3 in review episode. All the various studio’s presentations condensed into a longer single DF review episode covering DF’s thoughts on the presentation’s highlights, disappointments, games of note or anything the team found interesting. A live watch along would be great too, but the time zones aren’t that friendly for some of us.

I just know it has to be Marc 'Try4ce' Duddleson as the guest for that FFXIV special. Very much looking forward to it!
