Hey guys, John here. You think PC games are demanding? Wait until you get into 4K video production! I just finished exporting a 20 minute 4K60 edited video and my PC just barely completed the task! The end result is a 147gb file before encoding into a more compressed format.

At its peak, the export was eating up 14gb of memory and every ounce of VRAM in my system.

It got the point where I basically couldn't do anything on the PC during processing!

Thankfully, everything worked out and tomorrow's video should be quite entertaining. Think of it as a pseudo-DF Retro that has crashed into a modern DF video. Plus, we'll have some cool bonus content here on the Patreon to go alongside it!

Beyond that, we have a lot more goodies coming up!

Speaking of DF Retro, I think I'm going to tackle something a little different for this weekend. It won't be as lavish as usual but it should be quite interesting nonetheless and buy time in completing the upcoming episodes! I'll be interested to hear what everyone hear thinks about it

Hey John, I really appreciate that you're posting updates here. It's interesting to have some insight into the background goings-on of Digital Foundry. Keep up the good work. :)
